Little Devil Inside Screenshots State of Play Hype.

I think this game might be under hyped. Im so gravitated towards this game. I’m not the type of person to get hyped by a indie title. But DAMN.RDR2 killer. LOL.

Here’s to it not disappointing tomorrow.

Is 'That Pure Potato'
There's something about that art style that seems so great. I especially like that little tug boat deal.

Looks really nice but since the developers "we can all do better" moment they can go do one.

Awesome, love that whole shooting the deer sequence, the detail of interaction going on is perfectly congruent within its own art style. I'm extremely excited to see its a big open map as well, I thought it would be instances zones.

Is this coming to XBOX as well at least?

It's a partnered title, so it's probably a timed exclusive depending on if Sony is funding development. I remember this starting out as a Kickstarter title, that SOny partnered with way back in PS4 Indie push. But because they are super small and this is their first big project they fell behind.

I wonder if SOny invested to grow the studio so they could actually execute on their concept. Their original trailer from 2015 was a concept trailer. The one from last year was actually the game running on PS5 hardware to my knowledge.

I don't think it's timed, because devs are already listing the Xbox on their homepage and that would be unusual. But maybe it's something like Psychonauts 2: No Series version, just the Xbox version.

Its a timed exclusive.

This is the message sent to us backers after the Sony show where it was included:
With the partnership in place with PlayStation, Little Devil Inside will be coming to the PlayStation 5 Systems (PS5) as a PlayStation "Timed" Exclusive title which means that the game will be available only on PS5 and no other consoles for a limited time, after which, it will be available on other consoles. Unfortunately, we are not able to disclose the actual term of the exclusivity yet.

As many of you know, we originally hoped for an all platform, concurrent release but for many reasons which we learned the hard way, this just was not possible.

We have also received direct inquiries where many of you are confused about how this affects the release for PC. This move DOES NOT affect our plans to release for PC and we will do our very best to release for PC at the same time as PS5.

So to clarify, a release for PS5/PS4 and PC is our top priority with other console platforms to follow after the exclusivity period expires.

An you can read the whole update online here too:

A lot of people are pissed because we were donating to this game 5 or 6 years ago and they announced it for all platforms(I remember how happy folks were for a Wii U port.....lmao)...Read the comments to see what I mean...I wanted it on PC so im good with the platform, but its folks who were xbox/nintendo players that donated that are potentially being left out/having to wait - and the developer doesn't reply to emails at all - period lol.

It was confirmed timed exclusive since last year… that is a fact direct from the devs.

It will release first on PS and PC… after Xbox (they didn’t say how much time).

Yes… after the PC and PS release… how much after? Nobody knows yet.

Unusual. If i was the sugar daddy i would want to make people believe it's a full exclusive und would forbid that the developer lists Xbox or Switch.
I think its because the games been in development for like 6+ years at this point. When we were all donating to it's kickstarter it was listed for everything(Its site still has the post up about it coming to damn near everything lol)

The Sony exclusive part is pretty new in relation to the timeline of the games development.

I went in for the PC Version back when I donated to it, but I own all of the consoles + PC so I don't mind the shift. But its got to be quite a few Nintendo/Xbox only folks who donated to this game through the years and now they're going to be waiting even longer...I always wondered how that would work if a Kickstarter game folks paid money for(Specially if a stretch goal was laid out to bring it to a particular system) and then the game got snatched up by a big publisher/deal...hows that work? So far the developer hasn't been responding to people needing refunds according to comments on the kickstarter page

Clearly the funding wasn't enough to build the game without investment from a 1st party. It sucks people payed into it expecting universal availability and now they don't have it. Obviously no one is going hold them to deliver it to the vita or wii u, so it might be a mute point by now.
And it being just a timed exclusive, those people should still get the game on other platforms a little later on.

Still surprised that this Kickstarter didn't turn out to be a scam (maybe?), because a lot about it sounded dodgy at best.
As if they had a bunch of pretty 3D renders and hardly any actual idea of how to turn the whole thing in an actual game.

Then again it's taking a fair amount of years for them to figure out what they wanted this to be, exactly, and the quality of the final result is yet to be assessed.

I agree with almost all of this post(actually probably all of it - but wouldn't the investment be a third party one technically?). But the game hit its target and then exceeded it by a good bit. The developers been a bit too quiet to where most of us just looked at it as a lost cause(Some thought it was a scam). I honestly was super excited to see it mentioned/shown at that one sony event awhile back and was even more hyped for a July release(They randomly updated it to a July release after it was shown at that sony event awhile back lol)

Its an interesting series of events for sure, but like I'm said I'm happy as shit this is coming out. If any of the ideas they talked about through the years make it into this game with that art style we're in for an amazing game

This game was my first entry into donating/kickstarter/gofundme stuff so I always thought of it as my own little experience with a Star Citizen type affair :messenger_tears_of_joy:
