That was Forza 4 on One X.Edited my original post. I meant 1080p/60 in Performance mode and 4K/30 in quality mode, on series X.

Yeah, that’s really impressive. Damn I can’t wait for this game. It's mostly above 1620p in performance mode, really good.
You mean to say its mostly 4K with occasional drops no lower than 1620p, I worded it correctly for you. It's mostly above 1620p in performance mode, really good.
Probably also unrealistic
There's no need for VRS if you can achieve the level of visual quality you want at your target frame budget (16.67 / 33.3ms). VRS makes sense when you're over budget i.e. dropping frames and you need a solution that can save some rendering time with minimal visual impact. This looking leaps and bounds ahead of anything else on a last gen engine is pretty remarkable, I haven't even seen any mention of Tier 2 VRS so there is a huge amount of performance left on the table.
Turn 10 will use all of it on a closed circuit racer so I'm expecting a huge leap even over this.
Look at the wall and floorWhere are the god tier textures?
That normal doesnt look any better than most, and the parralax actually looks pretty bad....everything else doesnt really make me think god tier.
Look at the wall and floor
1440p-1800p is my guessI wonder at what resolution they could have had the performance mode a locked 60fps on without changing anything else from the quality option.

Isn't there some trick that Insomniac uses to convert 40fps to 120fps?1440p/120 on the X would be ideal..
He made one for MS Flight Sim as well, 100% hype, he may have a preference but he can definitely give praise when praise is deserved, like hereIs this the first Xbox exclusive game NXGamer has ever made a video about?
Can't wait, got it pre-installed on my PC and Series X.
1440p will give a noticeably softer picture.

FYI, VRS tier 2 doesn't specifically come under "RDNA2 features". It comes under "DX12 Ultimate" or "DX12U features", so that's what everyone should be saying not "RDNA2 features" as Microsoft's VRS tier 2 is available for other IHV's products as well. Turing, Ampere (NVIDIA), Alchemist (Intel).I expect Forza Next Gen to have Ray Tracing in game, so the next gen engine should use all the RDNA2 features. If they had used Tier 2 VRS here then they maybe could have had less cutbacks in performance mode or offered the quality mode at 40fps for 120hz sets.
Sweet Jesus! Some people here think that real life is desaturated and cloudy all the time. When you go to a country like Mexico it is full with saturated colors and bright highlights because of the immense amount of sunbeam. Forza Horizon 4 and 5 nailed the lighting of the country they are based on. Forza Horizon 4 lighting was one of the best last gen and it got the british lighting almost spot on. Forza Horizon 5 takes it even further and gives us a even better lighting model this time of Mexico.
I mean look at this, it looks soo good and soo close to the real thing
Why do people continue to come into Forza Horizon 5 threads and insist on comparing an open-world racing game to a linear third-person Souls game?

Usually above 1620p for performance as NXG states, but impressive all the same. Solid 60 lock is worth the IQ loss.
Sure, buddy. What they said was...
But by all means, continue on with your stealth trolling.
I get my 12900k the day before to pair with my current 3090, FH5 gonna be the perfect game to test drive the new cpu. This game is going to look boss on PC with a 3090!
Demon’s Souls has god tier textures
Yeah iirc he said on a Twitter discussion that he had a preference. I certainly have it too. I honestly think it’s nearly impossible to be deeply interested in anything at all and not develop a preference. Doesn’t matter if it’s game consoles, cars, guitars, mobile phones, TVs, sound gear, sports teams, etc. If you’re truly interested you’ll like one thing more than another even when it’s not perfectly logical, it’s natural as far I’m concerned. Just don’t foolishly hate everything else and it’ll be fine. Give praise when praise is deserved and we’ll all contribute to make the hobby better.I like that he appears to have acknowledged this preference. When people claim to be without bias, I have a very hard time taking them seriously.

I am talking about textures, If you look at the rock and floors there are areas where the details that are lackin. Not as High polygon as UE5 demo
If that's God Tier...
Then this is Autonomous Ultra Instinct Tier:

You are comparing a shot of the floor directly beneath the character vs a zoomed in shot of a rock a ways away? How can one draw any meaningful conclusion from this? And what does UE5 have to do with your screenshot? Who is talking about UE5?I am talking about textures, If you look at the rock and floors there are areas where the details that are lackin. Wait so how much of this map is actually take from real landscape??
Game looks great.
If there is a mid gen refresh again this gen, it will need to be able to run this game's quality mode at 60 frames. That would be the upgrade people would pay for.
Horizon maps are always a compressed version of reality. With each game the biomes are representative of the real locations.
Horizon 4 for example includes about half of Edinburgh just about 1:1 including Arthur's Seat
You can do this for sections of each map in the series like Surfer's Paradise in FH3.

I've seen more Demon's Souls screenshots in Forza topics than in the the official Demon's Soul topic.

i doubt you'd find Forza screenshots in a Demon's Souls thread. Pretty annoying that derails happenI've seen more Demon's Souls screenshots in Forza topics than in the the official Demon's Soul topic.

which is also obnoxiousYeah, it is awesome when people start comparing games with totally different environments, themes, art styles, etc.
There were definitely Flight Simulator screenshots in Ratchet and Clank threads though.
Yeah, Cabo is nice, but have you considered getting cursed and visiting an underworld dungeon? The textures down there are god-tier.Looking at these photos makes me want to book a trip to Cabo.
