I’m going to Kroger to get groceries, which is something I do every other Friday. I will then begin building my new LEGO Apollo 11 Lunar Lander. I do let the kids stay up later that night and we watch the countdown on Animal Crossing at 10pm for my youngest to still see it before bed. My oldest gets to stay up until midnight which we will play some multiplayer game, which is her choice. Sometimes we still play Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival, Monopoly, or Wheel of Fortune.
I really wish 1 vs 100 was available so she could experience that!

It's my birthday, which can be both good and bad, only bad because I have to work (luckily only a half day) and going out is just bananas because of course everyone else wants to do the same. I used to go to friend NYE parties, but, the last few years, it hasn't happened, both due to covid restrictions, and, people had kids, so, they prefer to stay home. I am a homebody myself, so, I really don't mind it. Still December 30th here, but, after work tomorrow, I am already burying myself in margarita's as soon as I get home, I am absolutely tits up excited, I just really want a lifetime supply of margaritas.

I prepared to evacuate my home because of a wildfire in December. I spent almost the entire day stressed out, and my home bordered the evac, fire got within 2 miles of my home. Much of my community has been destroyed.

For New Year's Eve I'm going to unload my vehicle, then take my car to get repaired.
