Considering the various concepts of denoting time are man made, and that there is no inherent advantage in doing it one way or the other, in this case what makes sense is subjective. But I am thoroughly amused that this many people decided to weigh in on such a trivial topic over a joke. For every one American that thinks they're special you'll find two Europeans telling someone else they're not and they should do things like they do.

According to Sony, PS Studios will release this fiscal year 1 mobile game, will port 2 games to PC, will release 4 PS crossgen titles and 4 PS5 only titles.

I assume they meant the 2 games are Uncharted collection and (selling its games separatedly) Morales Ultimate Edition. So no TLOU games for PC (or any other PC port) this fiscal year.

Regarding his tweet I think he meant that Sony will make a SoP/Showcase in September 2nd focused on console games and PC ports.

Entirely possible that it is The Last of Us Remake and that it being on PC is just announced but coming later. Like they did with Uncharted. The thing about Spider-Man is that it releases in August but Miles Morales comes a little later in Autumn. So the games are separate releases. If Uncharted does drop this year, that's 3 separate PC skus.

That's like telling someone who speaks another language that their sentence structure is wrong because they addressed the subject at the end instead of the beginning. It might be weird to an English speaker but it's not wrong. It's just how they do it. But like I keep saying, the metric system, I keep praying we convert. The thing that Sony's chart of games per platform for the current fiscal year was in percentages that would match with:

• 1 mobile game, 2 ports for PC, will release 4 PS crossgen titles and 4 PS5 only titles
• 2 mobile games, 4 ports for PC, 8 PS crossgen and 8 PS5 only titles

I don't think Sony will release 16 new games this fiscal year. 8 counting the PSVR2 launch games makes more sense.

That would mean 2 PC ports: the Uncharted Collection and Morales Ultimate Edition counting it as a single game because it was sold originally in PS as a single game even if in PC they splitted Spider-Man Remastered to make more money.

So I think it's highly possible that Sony would release this fiscal year TLOU Factions a let's say TLOU1+2 Director's Cut (a bundle of TLOU2 PS5 + TLOU1 remake for PS5) on PS5 only and to release these two titles on PC around half a year later as they did with the Uncharted remasters or even later, which would put the PC ports of these TLOU new releases in the next fiscal year. That would fit with Sony's graph.

Rumour was the horror game Kojima was working on for Stadia was to be episodic. I think people presume Overdose is the same title being reworked for other platforms and is still episodic. If not the same game but same genre then likely the same desire for this style of release. Seems more likely to release in September on PS & PC than TLOU1 to me, but we will find out soon.
