Now I know why GOW Ragnarok is Phil spencer's most awaited game ever and his personal GOAT. He must have had a hands on with the game lately.
If this footage is only the tip of the Iceberg... DAMN!! When the boi shoots the arrow to the moon that scene is fucking amazing, I will buy an Oled for this game.
I will revisit GOW to have everything fresh this coming november.

And we come to realize that a fucking engine does not make a game great, this game does not need UE5, Santa Monica Studio is so fucking talented!!

Honestly I just dont get the hype for new direction of the series. It looks great graphically but feels like Kratos being a "father" is the only depth of the series
I don't know but these lines kind of hit hard when it comes to Kratos's character.

"What do you even know of Godhood?"
"In your lifetime, has anyone ever worshipped you...?"
"...ever prayed to you?"
"Can you even imagine that kind of love?"

Kratos was always about war and revenge and never thought about what it's like being a God that people loved.

All he did was kill and murder, maybe he'll change and start saving and protecting.

And the most epic line in that trailer in good ole Kratos fashion...

"Death can have me, when it earns me."

Combat is way better in the new ones. I button mashed my way to a platinum in 3. Cool looking but shallow combat compared to the new one. Far better story than just Kratos mad! Better locations. The thing most lacking in the newer game was samey enemies and it looks like that's been fixed for this latest. Don't get me wrong, I've loved all the God of War games but the last one for me was the best of the bunch.

Been trying to avoid trailers since the first one but had to take a peek at it.. and it looks bloody incredible. They've definitely upped the ante in the scale of fights..

Bring on November, 9th!

One of the best trailers ever, second only to BOTW Switch presentation trailer off the top of my head. Might have to give in to playing this on PS4, the story is the strong point anyway.

Gow once again doesnt dissappoint. Game looks fire. Now sony remake the 1st gow trilogy and give it the last of us part 1 treatment. That would be something people would actually look foward to.

As if Odin, Thor or Baldur ever cared about the norse people. All gods on this franchise only cared about themselves.

The difference is that Kratos doesnt want to be worshiped or loved. He doesnt have the need to have his ego stroked like every other god does.

That's the reason why he wanted to hide Atreus nature. He doesnt want Artreus being an asshole due to his power (like he almost did during the first game)

Represent.

Represent(ative) of bad opinions
Yes Neil unlike your company they can actually do a good sequel.
Please don't bring that shit in here 🙄. TLOU2 raised the bar significantly in this medium.

And I guarantee you every single one of Sony's studios (ESPECIALLY Santa Monica, Insomniac) saw that game and said, "this is the new bar".

Cory Barlog said in a tweet that game changed his life quite literally. Neil and TLOU 2 are respected in the industry.

I actually agree. The blocking and dodging of the series always held the combat back

I just dont think they improved much in the new one. They need better level design, better puzzles, and bosses worth a damn and this trailer didnt change what I thought.
