Digital Foundry may not be covering Hogwarts Legacy (Update: Cunts showed up to John's home to harass him prior to all of this.)

Your post strikes me as way more pathetic. They're a fucking private company, they can decide what they review or not.

Yes, it's the main .net site.
They're part of the sabotaging crew. Here's all the coverage they have on the game:

Are they dependent on resetera for their traffic?
So much they're afraid that if the were impartial and professional, they would be blacklisted and bashed on that forum and would loose traffic for their website and YouTube.

I can't imagine any other reason why they wouldn't cover the game whatsoever.

It is beyond terrifying that a general populace of keyboard warriors on social media have the power to put a leash on websites simply writing an opinion piece about a game. Because that is still what it is in regards to reviews of a game. It is an opinion. It is not like someone's opinion involves abuse because then you at least have a reason to attack someone over it. Digital Foundry not even going to review the technical part of it all is just... staggering. They need not post an opinion. We want them to tell us how the game is in a performance point of view. That just means stating facts.

Come on guys, let's not lower ourselves to era standards and harass/insult people for not covering a great game.

When they went after John last time about Ion Fury, he seemed genuinely upset that they would target him for showing his passion for a game he genuinely really liked, harassing him and insulting his personal appearance.

It seemed like it genuinely really got him down, I'd personally like to see John do his own retro stuff/performance analysis though, his content is by far the best on the DF channel imo.

But I can imagine he doesn't want to go through that again, these era members and their twitter mob are really rotten people.

Hopefully they do a video in the future, as I know people here find performance analysis interesting.

This is not a bad idea and has been mentioned a number of times. You simply cannot get through to these publications without some kind of action in response to their ridiculous aggressive actions.

They are essentially refusing to serve you as a customer because of some misguided view that they know better.

its a GAME and has a trans character included, who speaks like a man, walks like a man, has an adams apple and is wearing a dress!! What more does the Trans JK hating movement want from the game? These people are weirdos and I worry about what is happening to the gaming scene these days, if “journalists“ (and I use that word so loosely) believe they need to bring a movement into this.

it’s also no surprise about the DF guys as they frequent Era and would face issues there if they touched the game.
Bullshit. These sites rely on ads. The only way to send them a message is to not give them the ad impressions they are desperate for.

99% certain as all sign points to them wanting to distance themselves from the game. If I'm wrong, I'll ask for mods to delete this thread and you can all feel free to shame me.

From a recent Patreon email. Hmmm that last bit is a bit strange. If they have chosen to not cover based on the controversy surrounding the game then it's simply a terrible business calculus on their part and very unprofessional.

Awesome and thanks. Well, hopefully, they will cover it. I know John and Alex aren't.

They're all probably privately having a blast with the game. Along with most of the other Era idiots who likely couldn't pre-order fast enough.

Can a mod close the thread? Seems I may have jumped the gun and they might cover it but it's not guaranteed. We know that John and Alex aren't but that's as far as we're aware. Apparently, Oliver might do it.

Feel free to insult me everyone for the unconfirmed news.

If the game is so evil they're absolutely against covering it I guess none of them are planning on playing it on their personal accounts either at their leisure.

So we know John and Alex aren't covering it. There are other people that work there that may end up doing a video on it. Everyone should probably step away from the ledge, the headline is at best, premature.

People calling them "cowards" don't seem to grasp the fact that Eurogamer and by extension DigitalFoundry aren't really part of the crowd who's afraid of repercussions.

They're part of the crowd who will stalk and attempt to use their leverage in the industry to destroy peoples' lives for not following the herd.

@NXGamer when are we going to get your coverage?

In the meantime there's ElAnalistaDeBits:

The overlapping between Beyond3D and resetera users is probably close to 100% at this point.
Their sole active moderator has been working towards that goal for a decade.

Thats not true. They allow talk of HL and I havent seen anyone banned or called a bigot for mentioning it nor do i see much at all talk of the JK controversy.

This has no sense.

Maybe DF is something detached and Warner want a graphics analysis with the dayone patch, but why other Eurogamer sites have the coverage, the news and the reviews? This while EG.net stopped to cover the game one year ago?

Their last news on the game is march 2022:
