I'm talking about PS5 only titles so far, it's gonna be the same case even when the PS4's out of the picture for SP titles. Games like Ragnarok & HFW were always going to come to PS4 since they started development right after the first games came out, even though Sony intentionally didn't acknowledge that for a while.

Did you literally make up that RE:4 has issues? I haven't even updated drivers for the full release and I'm above 90s with RT on my 4080 which tells me how great it scales on lower end hardware if I'm pushing a full RT title like this at high resolutions.

Sure god of war ragnarok is currently exclusive to PlayStation but it will be ported to PC. can you play Nintendo exclusives anywhere else? That's what I mean. Why is that? So you can feel like your in the special cool kids club? The industry is changing, exclusives are slowly fading away. Get used to it. This is better for gamers in the long run. A PC user who spends thousands of dollars on a high end rig deserves to play fantastic titles just just as much as a person who purchased a $500 plastic box of their choice.
It also makes sense business way, they're leaving lots of money on the table by excluding PC. I own a PC, Series X and PS5 and have 0 regrets and I love them all.
Consoles these days are more for the convenience. Instead of spending a ton of money on expensive GPUs and CPUs, you get fantastic performance out of the box. You don't have to deal with system crashes as much, weird software/hardware bugs and driver updates. This is why you buy consoles. The exclusives are part of the bonus and came with the territory, but now more people will have access to the "exclusives" Everyone wins. For the players.

lmao.You must be living under a rock. The game literally crashes with RT on as soon as the vram goes above your GPU. Literally every time. Everyone even with a 10 GB card is running into it.
I am glad your $1,200 card is running it well though.
On xbox, game shipped with broken controls.
On PS5, game shipped with awful IQ.
RE4 is the poster child for multiplatform games shipping in a poor state.

This is bad news. Until they display otherwise with whatever their next single player game is, I'm going to assume this means that they are accounting for low-spec PCs for future releases. Good luck developing around and optimizing to the PS5's attributes (let me know when even mid range PC SSDs have 5.5GB/s IO speeds).
Actual exclusives are a food thing guys. It's no coincidence that people are pessimistic and unpleased with Sony's output now that they're accommodating multiple platforms.

Games with Denuvo are pretty good about not being cracked anywhere near launch windows. Technical ovehead notwithstanding.
They didn't use anything other than Steam's very basic protection here, it seems.

This, along with the lack of E3 and consoles exclusoves and AAA devs not releasing anything is why the industry is losing it's competitive spirit.

Same with Metal Gear. It started life on PC and then appeared on console.
Some console players complain about “their” exclusives coming to PC, while they have no problems with former PC exclusives coming to console.

You can buy cheap ass SSDs on PC with 7.6GB/s these days. PCIE 4.0 drives are old news. We're waiting on 5.0 drives with 12-14GB/s.
