That's the real crime here. If you choose to be unhealthy, cool, I do plenty of unhealthy shit to myself all the time, we all do. Creating a culture that implies that being unhealthy is not your fault, not something that should be acted on but actively embraced and celebrated as a fuck you to The Man...that's a fucking crime. Instead of celebrating creativity, intelligence or something positive, marketing campaigns like this reach for the absolute lowest-ass hanging fruit and preying on vulnerable people the way I see it. I guess we'll collective ignore as a society that obesity is not only absolutely brutal on the body but that this life style also severely impacts mental health. But yas queen, celebrate mental health...same people.
It's just infuriating. I keep ranting in here but marketing and commercials are one of my absolutely most hated aspect of modern life and now we can't even escape it by turning off the TV like I could back in the day. We are absolutely bombarded with smile-in-the-front-knife-in-the-back companies telling us what's a "good life", always involving consuming their product typically manufactured involving some level of horrific labor conditions.
I think I got it out of my system now, sorry everyone lol.
PS: A special fuck you to anyone who thinks you feeling bad about yourself somehow trumps medical facts. Imagine how much better you'd feel actually improving your health rather than just being told that feeling like shit and probably getting shitty diseases is totally normal.

Big difference between thin and anorexic to be honest. Anorexic is bone and skin and making yourself throw up and severally reducing your calorie intake to unhealthy standards. I'm just saying the opposites of both extremes are not healthy and should not be promoted that is all.

Who told these companies women feel bad for these character designs? Most women I know that game always loved classic Lara Croft, Ivy, Sonia and other designs a lot, I have a female friend that hates modern Lara because they removed her from her sensuality.
Hell in my experience sensual women designs appeal more to women than to men, haven't heard a single man even mention their appeal at all, contrary to several women lol.
