Pretty much skipped after the dog shit release still not bothered. It's a tech demo at best. You'd think everyone would have played it by this point.
You're working with outdated information. Still crappy how they released it, but it's a good game not quite like anything else out there.Pretty much skipped after the dog shit release still not bothered. It's a tech demo at best.
If by tech demo you mean a demo for how immersive first person RPG stories can be told, I agree.Pretty much skipped after the dog shit release still not bothered. It's a tech demo at best.
Maybe you should play it before making such assumptionsPretty much skipped after the dog shit release still not bothered. It's a tech demo at best.
The aren't mini games or anything like that but the crowds can be pretty dynamic. I dunno, it depends what you want. The detail astonishes me. I can spend 10 mins zooming in on magazine covers and watching ad billboards change.Been always wanting to try it because I love cyberpunk games but the initial release really made me sour toward it, and I’ve read that the open world, while pretty, is empty with nothing really to do. Has there been changes or is this still the case?
Yeah so anti-consumer. They should just demo the final mission and call it quits.First 4 - 5 hours is the best part of the game. They know what they're doing. Very anti consumer though.
It wouldn't be as effective. The first 4 - 5 hours is where the budget went.Yeah so anti-consumer. They should just demo the final mission and call it quits.
Nah, it's a great game.Pretty much skipped after the dog shit release still not bothered. It's a tech demo at best.

You must be so fun at parties. It wouldn't be as effective. The first 4 - 5 hours is where the budget went.
The backbone of the story is your relationship with Johnny and how it evolves over the course of the game. The backbone of the gameplay is developing your own combat loop by specialising in a particular set of skills and Cyberware. None of these things are covered in the first 4-5 hours. It wouldn't be as effective. The first 4 - 5 hours is where the budget went.

Strong opinion for someone who hasn't played it. Legit one of the best games of the gen. Just not last gen.Pretty much skipped after the dog shit release still not bothered. It's a tech demo at best.

Enjoy. PL was such a pleasant surprise. Cyberpunk easily being a top 5 for me this generation.Played this for the first time after the 2.0 release and the game is incredible. Played on PS5. It’s tough for me to stay with a game till completion and with this I just kept wanting more. Purchasing Phantom Liberty now.
Interactivity in the open world is non existent. The world is pretty dead in general as there is no reactivity or mini-games or pretty much anything. NPC reactions are quite a bit worse vs say GTA V on Xbox 360 or PS3. There are now police chases and vehicular combat so there is that.Been always wanting to try it because I love cyberpunk games but the initial release really made me sour toward it, and I’ve read that the open world, while pretty, is empty with nothing really to do. Wife didn't beat ya last night or what happened? It wouldn't be as effective. The first 4 - 5 hours is where the budget went.
Yes, attracting more people to a game that now has a Steam rating of 92% among recent players. The money is in the front end. They know what they're doing.
