Are in your documents folder and will be identified by ME3.But my saves?
Of course you can.Can you still carry over your old saves?

Most anti-cosumer publisher on the PC side: EA or Ubisoft?

I still don't know what this means.
I refuse to sign EA's EULA so this wasn't even an option for me.Welp.. Looks like I'm not playing mass effect 3.
Steam has adopted a set of restrictive terms of service which limit how developers interact with customers to deliver patches and other downloadable content.
I still haven't bothered to find out what Origin even is. I guess I should, even though I won't be playing this game anyway.
Edit: Wait...its just a store? Eh.

It's all good , I have origin for 1 game, bf3 and that's enough.
I don't see the point in having 300-400 games on steam and 2 on origin. If I give in then I should expect nothing else than every publisher starting their own dd service for their own games for most likely lovely prices.
At least we know it won't be worth playing after the snoozefest that was ME2.
Not just a store. There is a web store, and an application like Steam. You will have to use the Origin application to play ME3 on PC.
Everyone might but I won't and I am a huge Mass Effect fan. The price of admission to Mass Effect 3 is too expensive if it includes Origin.
Thanks to the TC for making the new topic.
This doesn't necessarily mean you have to buy it from Origin, sounds like the same deal as BF3. Still, no one wants to use Origin. How annoying.
It says you don't need to use Origin at all unless it's online. So it's not like BF3 where Origin needs to be int he background at all times. Not like it really matters..
If you know anything about EA, you already realize that they're not even a little concerned with making things fair for their customers. There are literally decades of proof supporting this.Yea, better to give one company almost total control over the market.....

Sorry but you are not a huge fan.
This doesn't seem so bad...Not just a store. There is an Origin branded web store, but what we're talking about is an application like Steam. You will have to use the Origin application to play ME3 on PC.
...but fuck this right here. I had no idea this was going on. This sounds like a worst case scenario for anyone who is a fan of the franchise. It's a downloadable games service with terms some of us don't agree with, and we've seen a few horror stories of people losing complete access to their games for trivial or nonsensical reasons. And that's only the ones that have made enough noise for us to hear about.
Nope, that's not it at all. In fact, the Steam-only crowd is such a minority that it's ridiculous. It's like EA wants their games not to sell well!
Oh no, it won't be in your Steam list. What an insane price to pay, it's just a notch below toiling on cracking boulders in the quarry.
I like Steam too (when they aren't making me wait 11 days for customer support), I prefer things be on Steam, but is this really that big of a fucking deal?
You can be a huge fan and still have limits on how much nonsense you'll put up with to experience the thing you're a fan of.
This seems to be a losing argument that nobody believes at all... so why even list it or mention it at all?Steam has adopted a set of restrictive terms of service which limit how developers interact with customers to deliver patches and other downloadable content.

That's not a fan. That's reasonable consumer who put value on the money before the loyalty to the series.
