Sket Dance 42

This week's episode was completely average, but who cares, next week we have the awesome
Bossun/Himeko "date"
story.

There's a harsher edge and a more explicit sexual component to the show so far than Cagliostro, my only previous exposure to the franchise. It's interesting to see what things were like before Miyazaki got his hands on Lupin.
Monkey Punch would be (is) proud of it! Specially compared to the "later" part. And Pycal should haunt you for your opinion on the second episode...

Little off-topic; I knew that "berrinche" would be used the moment I saw it, but to be fair he acted less frustrated than in some previous matches against F.C Barcelona. Sometimes, when not receiving the ball, he would simply stand there at the spot with hands on his hips simply doing nothing, desperately running behind the opponent that took the ball or showing his discontent stupidly evident as a poser. Now at least he reacts accordingly (professionally) and makes his presence in helping the defense notable (that tackle to Alves included). Also...
¡Hala Madrid!

If you liked the OVA then that's as good as it gets.
Pretty much! Overstretching what they did without the guide of TAGRO was unnecessary. They had sufficient material to adapt that really worked!

I find it almost hard to watch Sket Dance now, alot of misses and awkwardness. But when it plays up tragic/dramatic stories,it excels in it.

Love or friendzone?

Excuse me, good sir. Pray tell what show this imaged originates from?

For science.

The only way I am watching Amagami is if they turn it into a full-fledged hentai series.

If it's any consolation I don't think you guys will drop any more points besides Camp Nou's.

Nisemonogatari (ep2-3)

Ep2 has
middle school girl seduction and Kanbaru naked.
I'm OK with this. I do enjoy the back and forth in gatari shows. However, it does need to break out after awhile.

Ep3 means shit just got real. Great scene leaving
Kanbaru's house. Cute encounter with imouto and now we know how ep1 happened. And Hanekawa making Gahara squirm?
The true end-boss.

This show plus Nichibros makes this season acceptable.

MADHOUSE is dead, long live MAPPA! Mr. Maruyama I love you!

MITSUO ISO
Nah, he will now commence to prepare for the Dennō Coil '10th Anniversary Super-Special Edition' UltraViolet release.

Those writers don't exactly give me faith, though at least it's an adaptation. He really needs to reunite with Keiko Nobumoto. But fuck it, it's Watanabe.

The Light of El Cantare
I was completely prepared to ignore that show next season, but now......is this real life? Any chance of Apollon being longer than one cour?

I don't intend to watch this show until it's over and I hopefully find out it isn't super creepy, but I must admit that little girl in these gifs is very adorable. My only problem with her otherwise adorable design is that I can't honestly recall any children that young ever having that much hair on their head. I mean, these gifs are adorable and all, but that's the first thing that comes to mind when I see that.

I remember when I was in Disney World, there was a girl probably about 2 or 3 riding on her father's head and her hair was about 3/4 the length of her whole body.

Oh! Edo Rocket 25:
Damn compelling episode. The plot has certainly moved in a really unexpected way in the last couple of episodes, and it's really working out well. The political machinations connect very well to how the show started off, and they manage to reflect on a number of important topics. The dialogue was just as revelatory as always, and the characters all managed to surprise me in different ways in this episode. I'm sad that I only have one episode left to watch.
