Probably not worthy of this thread but i just saw the old movie The Beach yesterday and this sequence
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMHINpgFO3I
reminded me of something. Fonts, colors, character design (animals)...
So i looked that up on imdb and this is what i found:
"The videogame recreation scene in the jungle was inspired upon the game 'Banjo-Kazooie (1998)', developed by Rare Ltd., according to Danny Boyle. "
Maybe it was a well known fact back then, no idea.
What the hell? I haven't seen The Beach myself before, but how the fuck does this scene tie into the movie? I thought it was a serious film or something.
You gotta remember that this is the same link that already went through 8 dungeons and vanquished ganon. By the time he gets to MM hes pretty fricken badass. Probably the strongest link in the entire series...

That reminds me much more of Crash Bandicoot than Banjo to be honest.

Not a fan of The Mercenaries I take it?
Coincidence ?
I think not =P
Who the hell punches like that?
not really. he's losing his mind from being isolated in the jungle for several days in a row. the movie doesn't really explain it nearly as well as the book does.Haven't seen the film, but he's on a drug trip.
There goes My Hero...watch him as he goes!

I always thought it was a guy looking up in a reverse baseball cap.

But who is the "World Warrior"?
All these years, I always saw it as a badly drawn Chun-Li sprite.
Well, I don't remember if it was revealed in the game or with official artwork, but Hironobu Sakaguchi confirmed that Steiner from "Final Fantasy IX" is actually bald under his helmet:
Blew at least my mind a little bit. Oh, and Sakaguchi's favorite Pokémon is Raichu, btw.
I always wanted to know what the fuck was that when I was a little kid. Thanks dude!Saw this posted on Reddit today.
And I never knew this.
apparently, if you screen-cap diablo's start up screen and use the bucket tool in paint on the area around diablo's head you reveal subliminal messages!
Natalie Portman rocks indeed.
Don't answer the question unless you are around the same age as her. (She was 15 when Diablo came out.)but did you think so before you played diablo, hmm?
