Why are some of you (who don't have the Vita yet) insist on buying the games and memory cards now? There's a good likelihood that many retailers will offer deals as launch nears. What, are you all going to make unboxing videos? lol

But whatever, wouldn't want to tell people how they should spend their money here. oooooh.

In Japan at least, the 8-4 podcast had talked about how a lot stores had very limited quantities of the 32GB memory cards. I wanted to make sure I could get a larger card, so I don't end up purchasing a 4 or 8 because I have no other options. Games I'm not too worried about, just pre-ordered when I pre-ordered the system.

So I dont have a PS3, or PSP, but I am picking up a Vita on launch day.
I know the Vita uses a different content manager than what everyone is used to, but the old one has access to PSN store, so if I buy Monster Hunter FU, and Star Wars BattleFront 2(is it actually any good on PSP?) Resistance retribution and a few demos on Media Go, does that download the game to my PC, and then when I get my Vita I can just send from PC to Vita, via the new content manager. Does it work like that?

Related note; Does anybody know when the Mac version of the content manager is due out? I thought I read that it should already be out but can't find it.

I never realized there was a $150 limit to the PSN wallet. Just something I happened to find out today, completely unrelated to spending every waking minute in preparation for the 22nd. Nope, I'm not getting involved in the ridiculous hype at all, no sir.

Apparently PS Vita Games are on the US PSN Store.
Use search function. Seems to be only first party games though.
Uncharted Golden Abyss: 3.2GB - $49.99 (No Discount?). Dammit
Wipeout 2048: 1.6GB - $35.99
Modnation Racers: Road Trip: 1.5GB - $26.99
HSG: World Invitational: 1.15GB - $35.99
Super Stardust Delta: 208MB - $9.99

I've been back and forth about whether to get a Vita at launch; I preordered within minutes of becoming available on Amazon, later cancelled the preorder.

I just got an email that I won a $100 gift certificate for stopping by the Vita Hill Club in Chicago two weekends ago. Sure I could spend it on PSP games (no PS3), but I think this will push me over the edge. Yay free stuff!

Will this be relatively easy to pick up at Target/Best Buy etc in the coming month? Not a troll post, honestly wondering because I haven't preordered and if I get it, it will be somewhat spontaneous.

I think you should have no problems unless Sony short ships.

None of the third parties are up, and Reality Fighters, Motorstorm RC, Little Deviants, or Escape Plan are up yet as far as I can search.

Uncharted for £28 gets better and better.

Lets see what the EU prices are though.

If those translated directly I would probably go and buy a 16gb card straight away because I'd be all digital.

I'm sure we will get screwed but here's hoping!

Damn this thread and its hype! I just re-instated my canceled Vita preorder from Amazon for the regular WiFi model. I will fight tooth and nail with myself to limit myself to one game...

EDIT: Crap! Totally forgot about no included memory. I planned on loading up on demos to hold me over until software prices dropped :-(

Canceled again...summer it is! Hopefully there's a mega-sale for the memory sticks eventually.

This thread is going to eat at me for the next couple of months, but I can't justify this purchase yet, GAHH. I'll just keep telling myself to learn from the 3DS that early adopters never win.
