I really enjoy HSG, but I don't see how anyone can say it doesn't look bad when compared to the other good Vita titles.
Not saying it looks better than the prettiest Vita titles, just that it looks fine and much better than the PSP versions.

London midnight release at GAME seems to be gathering a few people.
Wow, that is a lot of people. With the insane attach rate we seem to be having on gaf, I'm hoping the vita is a smash hit for sony.
Wipeout doesn't really impress, I've found. Visually, it's outstanding, but the loading times don't exactly do much to sell the system and the game itself is not really friendly to newcomers.

I can't answer for sure but I know the PS3 version doesn't. Considering its a "buy once, get both" game, it probably has the same feature set, so would have no online. And then the line stops from the last person on the left
DOES TOP DARTS HAVE ONLINE? lol come on folks!

My order is shipping.
I can't believe this day has finally came.
Why hasnt mine ssssshhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeedddddddddddd
Don't worry too much.
Back in the day of GT5's launch, I had release date delivery from Amazon. The website must have been so busy that my game stayed as "shipping soon" until almost 4AM the DAY OF launch (which I didn't find out about until later on). I looked at the tracking history to see the game was actually shipped the day before launch in the evening.
I got so worried that I actually ordered GT5 again from Buy.com instead with one day shipping (I live 4 hrs from the warehouse they ship from) and then later of course saw the Amazon update and felt like a fool.
I then received 2 copies of GT5 on launch day. XD I no longer worry about Amazon ship statuses.
A distribution center must be near your area. The one mine's at right now is only 2-3 hours away. Why hasnt mine ssssshhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeedddddddddddd

$14.99 justified now?
Potentially the best launch of any game hardware ever? Solid machine, great launch lineup, working online and store, social apps.
Lockerz is out of 32gb
People are so starved for new hardware. Something to get excited about, and Vita hits the spot. I think the first couple months of sales will be pretty good.
Is that only retroactive or do I get the PS3 version when buying the Vita one?I can't answer for sure but I know the PS3 version doesn't. Considering its a "buy once, get both" game, it probably has the same feature set, so would have no online.

Close...In my opinion, I still think the Dreamcast had the best launch so far.
Has everyone's Release Date Delivery Vitas from Amazon shipped already?
From what I understand you would get the PS3 version when buying the Vita one, or if you bought the PS3 version you would get the Vita one for free.Is that only retroactive or do I get the PS3 version when buying the Vita one?
I see no reason why this should let up. Once people get into the ins and outs, they will flip though as it's got a very feature rich OS for a launch.
I think game sales will continue to do okay, but I can also see the majority of the "early adopter" crowd all buying the system within the first two or three months. Then things are going to fall off for a while until the fall. The cost of buying in is high enough that it will have to be a Christmas or birthday present for a lot of younger players. This holiday season will be the most telling one.
Fun as hell! The online lobbies are a game in themselves.
I hope they've not gone hoping to pick up Rayman
Can you use the built in Mic for party chat or do you need a headset?
Shit I am now worried if I will find one tomorrow :/
Hope it wont be sold out in a midnight opening or something before I go to futureshop tomorrow.

But I ordered one two days ago and they say they will ship it in 1-2 business days. There's really no excuses.
It's nowhere near that bad. I think it looks great even if it's lower res. I don't know what people were expecting from Hot Shots.
I think the HW should put the Vita easily over the top. The games are certainly debatable though but I would still give the edge to Vita if only by a small margin.
I see what you did thar Flunkie
Oh nvm then I tough u would order one now
Good points and I agree to a certain extent. I was one of those who bought a 1GB for 150 back at PSP launch and felt great about it.True, but the Dreamcast did usher in a big jump in graphics and sound that could not be matched by anything that was currently out at the time. The WOW factor from going from existing game consoles, even PC's at the time was a big jump. The Vita does have the WOW factor, but not as big as the DC had because we have seen other devices with amazing looking screens like the one in the Vita and there has been some impressive software on portable devices that look really good.
For arguement sakes, lets say Vita has the 2nd best launch...that is fucking saying alot considering all the systems before it...that is a testement to how good Sony has done. The only thing that they could of done better...the fucking outrageous price of the memory cards. Seriously...a $100.00 for only 32gb? I can see a $100 for 64gb...not 32gb. If there is one dissapointing thing about the whole launch it is the price of the memory..which if we are counting check marks, they win the "most expensive" accessory item in launch history. And people thought MS charging what they charge for HDD's on the 360 were high, these take the cake.

And regarding the expensive stuff, when did that 360 wifi adapter hit? That is outrageously overpriced but not sure if it was a launch item. That and the HDDVD add on.
Thats huge.
Are the good UK ads working?
If you buy HSG from SEN/PSN, you wont need an online pass.Did you get an online pass?
I agree 15 is a bit much for PvsZ. $9.99 is a fair price point for the game. There should be another discount applied if you own PvsZ on PS3.
