I don't have buyer's remorse on anything right now. Maybe "Where Is My Heart" because I bought it to test if it works on the Vita, which it doesn't at the moment. It'll work eventually so I guess it's not a big deal.

I like the idea of it transforming into a stand.
I got one and didn't care for it, primarily because your options when you want to play are either to remove it from the case or let the whole thing hang down so you can access the rear touch stuff. Not a huge deal though. Also, since the sides are open, I was slightly concerned about how well it would protect the system in my bag. I think personally I'm just looking for a case to store it in and that's all, so ymmv. The stand part was a nice touch that worked pretty well though.

Enjoying the shit out of Rayman Origins at the moment, then I've gotta finish my replay of Uncharted on hard, then I'll finish Escape Plan and Mutant Blobs attack and play some more Wipeout.
Once I finish all that I'm sure there will be more games out which pique my interest. I'm also really interested in Hot Shots.

Well the FEB case actually works as a stand - which I didn't realize until you mentioned that, so thanks for the tip.
Sadly no accommodation for the headphone jack in this mode, however. Pretty rad for browsing though.

Honestly I don't even know if it's the game's fault, it might get a lot more interesting later on. But I've played like 3 levels and is a competent game, but it does nothing really out of the ordinary for me.
I guess at $7 or $8 on Vita is a cheap game, however coming from iOS I actually expect something pretty meaty for that price. I guess it's an expectations kinda thing, but I'd pay $2.99 for it if it were on my iPad. I have too many other great game to play already and not that much time to do it, so I can't really justify spending time on a game that didn't totally grab me from the get go.
It's like the comments on the screen and how fantastic it is. I thought it was fine and quite nice to be sure, but wasn't blown away by it at all. Then I went over to my brother's and brought the Vita with me. He was blown away at the screen and then he showed me his PSP and we put them side by side. WOW, then I totally understood why people were so impressed. If you go from PSP straight to Vita the jump in quality is astounding. From iPhone 4, not so much. It's clearly there, but nothing as extreme. I guess it's the same for me and this game. If you come from the PSP then it clearly looks and plays awesome, but if not I'd probably skip it.

And before you label me a hypocrite, no I didn't buy the case. It came included in the Latin American fucking bundle and there's no way to buy a Vita without it (and Modnation Racers) over here. Bleeding the early adopters, but what can you do?

Will be on the phone to Amazon in the morning. In the mean time I'm going to leave a video playing at full volume to drain the battery and see if that makes any difference. Mine will only make a 90 degree angle... meaning it'll fall flat on its face.
I'm playing Dynasty Warriors next and I have seen nothing like that on iphone 4. Are you talking about screen quality or games in general?

I had buyer's remorse on physical copies but thanks to amazon gift cards, $50 for applying for a CC on Amazon, and compensation for Tiger Direct's screwup: I had enough to buy a 32GB card, take advantage of buy 2 get 1 on amazon and rebuy the games digitally after selling one on gaf and one on ebay. Now I'm totally content
I just kept the physical copy of Uncharted and will probably just leave it in the device in perpetuity.Screen and Blob quality.
I actually thought Blob didnt look all that special to me either, and that I could find dozens of very competent and very cheap platformers on iOS too.
I love my Vita to hell and back currently, but I dont quite see why I should buy this game. HSG is miles better than the iOS golf one. Lumines is an amazing experience. Even Uncharted or Rayman is not an experience to get on iOS, but the blob game?
Anyway, I havent played it, just my initial impressions which is why I ask for more input how far off the truth I am with that to decide whether or whether not to buy it.

With proper application you wouldn't have to worry about it for years. Better safe then sorry. I scratched my PSP within 2 weeks of play and slapped on a screen protector and it was protected for years. It was more scratch resistant then the actual screen.

I agree. I was talking about Mutant Blobs specifically.
Then I was talking about why the screen didn't blow my mind like a lot of other posters, while I do think that it's excellent quality, but it's what I more or less expected.
Then I made the comparison that the fact I've played so many games with similar styles as Mutant Blobs on iOS might be why it's not really clicking with me. Stuff like Uncharted I haven't seen on iOS for example and that's the stuff I got the Vita for.
Also nothing on iOS will ever be as complex and control as tightly as Blazblue, which I'm also loving (even though I majorly suck). Mutant Blobs though? Not really the stuff I got the Vita for, since it could easily be done on iOS. Rayman on the other hand wouldn't work as well for example.

Just spoke to a a woman at customer service who set up a replacement. Took a little while to explain the exact problem but we got there in the end. I checked that I'll get the replacement before I have to send this back which is great.

I really, really like it in terms of style and size as it's a little smaller, lighter and far better looking than the Sony FEB case which I find bulky and unattractive. It only holds 3 games though and has no extra space for cords so that may be a negative for some people.

Plug in some amazing headphones or hook up your Vita to some nice speakers and then enjoy Lumines.
List genres/games you like, and suggestions for what to get on PSP can start rolling in. If JRPGs are one though there's already a pretty good thread for that.

This. Also, DJ Max sounds amazing with headphones on. Sure, the soundtrack is not the best in the series but it's not bad either, but the sound quality and volume is great.

I assume that's legit but why hasn't anyone made a thread? And Amazon has had that date forever. I pre-ordered it last week with release date shipping and got it for 30. I noticed it's for now which I would be perfectly fine paying for.
I really hope that Sony staggers the releases since March has 2 big games, April SEEMS empty and May seems to be Gravity Rush.
I have Ridge Racer paid off but Amazon says June on that one too. A gaffer said it was next week or the week after Unit 13 so I'm not so sure who to believe.

BTW, I need to report that I purchased the Sony Screen protectors and they are fantastic. The 3-Step application is FREAKING easy. I got not bubbles or blemishes in placing the film; and, the film seems extremely high quality and has perfect clarity as far as I can tell. Plus, you get 2 films instead of one.

Definitely a JRPG fan. Looking at getting Tactics Ogre but I read something about it maybe going on sale in the next few days. May try to wait that one out.
I think I might actually pick up the new Super Stardust game. Seems like a great game to break in the Vita alongside Lumines.
I'm going to look into it more later, but does anyone know if the Vita works with Tversity or has a way to stream media from a PC? The GF would probably enjoy me hanging out with her more and I would enjoy watching something that's not Project Runway. 2 birds.

Then get Trails in the Sky at the least. Probably best to play it safe and see if it goes on sale today though, the Drop outlines what games will be made available, but not what will go on sale. It did have a recent price drop so it's not likely though, it's just a good habit because who wants to buy a game only for it to get cheaper in a matter of hours?
