I think my big problem with Madonna this era is that vocally, she's just not even trying. She's taken her monotone delivery to a new extreme and it just sounds dead, and the production on the tracks we've heard so far aren't doing anything revolutionary to distract us from that.

And she's fucking Madonna, so of course no producer is going to push her for more lively vocals while she's in the booth.

Why even release music at this point in your career if it's going to be this uninspired. If Madonna just wants to do another tour, well, she doesn't need a new album as an excuse.
