No. The website shows that it's one of the black controllers.
LOL, what a sham.

If in the next 3-4 hours I don't get used to the characters running their mouths every goddamned second in battle, this thing is going on ebay.
The US version isn't even like that. The US version is literally just a normally packaged copy of the game and also the normal packaging for the CC Pro. It's basically just you ordering two different items simultaneously, nothing more. At least that's what their customer support said.
oh, is it red at least?
What a jokerBut... It's Reyn time...

I'm entirely serious when I say...that won't be enough...not even close.
26 weekends then
What a joker
Yes. All these people getting artbooks make me feel bad. I should have just asked and pressed the Gamestop employee. I'm too cynical and just expected I wouldn't get one.
I just hope Nintendo honors all preorders through their site.

Why not? I beat the game in 39 hours since I got really tired of the sidequests about halfway through. My third playthrough of the game is on track to come in even lower than that.
Gamestop order arrived today. I paid for the cheapest shipping so I was surprised. They shipped it in those weird cardboard flat packs, not the bubble envelopes or boxes. no mangledness. ^^
Yep, mine came in today, too. I was also glad (and surprised) to see they used good packaging!
And the art book is a lot better than I though it would be.
Ja, I didn't expect to see this delivered so soon, but what a pleasant surprise it was! =]
(I opted for the cheapest shipping as well)
The art book was another nice surprise. It is of much better quality than I anticipated . Both items arrived in pristine condition..
Everything went better than expected.
Why do people hate GameStop again?

There is no way a first playthrough is going to clock in at 39 hours. You would have to do almost no sidequests, not explore at all, and know exactly where you need to go for the story at all times. I think playing it that way also really sells its strengths short (like exploring). Regardless though, no one is going to know exactly where to go next for the story on their first run so I don't see 39 hours being achievable at all.
If you already know exactly where to go I can see that number being possible. It is also important to note that if you are playing a run on NG+ you are more powerful than normal and can actually beat it in a lot less time than even 39 hours. That is expressly if you are playing NG+ though. I really don't think in 39 hours most people will even have all the party members yet, much less beat the game.

I think I'll try to do like you did, Aeana. I'll simply rush through the game without doing sidequests at all. My first playthrough lasted over 80 hours and I ended up hating the game because of the dumb fetch/collection quests and the repetitive battle system.
All right, well it was my first complete playthrough and I did in fact beat it at 39 hours. Before that, I had played up toin the Japanese version before I sold it to a friend. I did not rush, I explored the fields, I just quit caring about completing sidequests at all after a while.Eryth Sea
It's not really half the game and I did more side content in the earlier areas the second time than I did the first, but this is getting off track. I wasn't saying other people were going to beat it in 39 hours, just that you don't need 80+ to finish the game like other people keep saying. I think 50-55 hours is a reasonable expectation for someone who only completes the sidequests that are before them and doesn't go out of his or her way to do it all.I would definitely argue that playing all the way up to where you did on the Japanese copy significantly helped you out in getting done faster. That is essentially half the game in which you already knew what you had to do and where to go. Ie, your first "complete playthrough" wasn't really your first time experience a good portion of the game and that time is obviously affected by it.
Never trust an Aeana playtime estimate, she's always like two standard deviations below GAF average, god only knows how much faster she is than normal-ass people.
Gold, equipment, gems. What kind of rewards you get for completing sidequests?
Most quests that simply ask you to kill or retrieve a certain number of something won't be worth it. Accept them, and just continue on and the odds are good enough that you'll finish them anyway. If someone asks you to find something specific, it's usually a red orb on the field, and those are the ones that generally give the better rewards.Thanks.
So... there are so many that it becomes overwhelming and the rewards are not worth the risk of getting burn-out?
Of course they will send all their preorders. Why would they do otherwise?
Your receipt of an email order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it confirm our offer to sell any products to you. Nintendo reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at any time.
Well, I was looking over their FAQs and there was a part reading something like "we may cancel your order for any reason."
They use what's on their bar when the situation calls for it. They're generally good enough about it. For example, Reyn will try to use wild down on an enemy who is broken, and things like that.Is there any way to "program" your companions behavior, or do they just randomly use Arts from their bar? Do they use the ones closer to the middle first?
