A R* employee is quoted as saying 8-10 hours. I assume he meant on regular difficulty.

- The location doesn't fit the noir setting, like South America.
- Doesn't seem to have any memorable characters so far. Like a strong female one. Mona Sax was a terrific character.
- The "comic strip" version is so distracting and terrible made.
- The marketing so far with the tech videos I don't like at all. I don't want to see the tech. I want a good trailer with the MP music we know.

I don't agree with any of these complaints, but about the last one, I really couldn't disagree more.
Tech videos are perfect.
If anything, I'm tired of trailers trying to tell me that the final product is awesome and unique (when it usually is not).
I'm all for videos showing off the tech behind the game and displaying what actually makes it awesome and unique.

Around 9 hours, but like I said before first play through you will definitely want to take your time. Well actually you'll need to if you don't want to keep dying. Cover and bullet time is DEFINITELY needed.

This is a game I will replay and replay. The shooting mechanics mixed with the awesome body animations and physics make it so you can always get a new experience out of the same levels.

Although not developed by Rockstar, the first two Max Paynes were short as well, especially the second. But as others have noted, they're sooooo replayable it's not even funny.

I know the guide doesn't represent the length of the game but I was still surprised to see it's 304 pages. I mean that only puts it around 20-40 pages shy of the Red Dead guide.

Whoa, that is awesome. That guide really must have a lot to it- I've always bought Rockstar guides after my first playthrough. But I'm really interested to see if a chunk of this guide is dedicated to Multiplayer strategies (I'm kind of hoping it's all single player ish!)

I've gone through a Bradygames guide once, it was filled with multiplayer details. Every map, item location (and much, much more) was explained to a mind-boggling degree.

Believed to be responsible for the murders of up to 90 local politicians, judges, witnesses and community leaders between January 2010 and December 2011.
Kidnapped and tortured 2 Spanish journalists who attempted to investigate them in 2010.
Close ties to high-ranking officials and politicians in São Paulo.
Suspected of influencing political campaigns through voter intimidation.
