The Nen Ren stuff was confusing but looked cool when Master Wing did it, especially with the paper. Cant wait to see how epic it makes Killua whenever he learns it.

was hoping they would spend more than a half episode on learning nen, rather than doing it fast and then getting past hisoka, which, whoms appearance was a nice surprise. Was he really stalking them?

Well the first half of the next episode will still have Nen being. In fact the whole arc is about them learning Nen and using it.

Mysterious Girlfriend X 3:
The music in this episode was really incredible. There were several scenes where I felt like they were scored perfectly. The characters continue to remain engaging, and I like how they mix the weirdness of this relationship with the awkwardness of teen romance in general. The relationship is better fleshed out now, and the bond is becoming more defined. I'm interested to see where things go next.

I just watched bunch of people play Karuta on youtube and it looks more tedious than the anime. Half of the time they are just organizing the cards and running after the cards they threw away. Plus they didn't half the ability to grab single cards like the guy in Chihayafuru

Man, I frick'n love this show. It's just so chill and heartwarming. The music and shot progression are as usual done brilliantly and the plot for today's episode was just the right amount (and kind) of pervy. Managed to lift me out of the bad mood I've been in since last night if only a little.

She's being pursued through a strange forest. She's cute naturally.

Lillith asks a village girl if she's seen Hazuki around and she takes off screaming like any sane person probably would.

Meanwhile,

Hazuki walks through the bamboo and comes across the fortress. She looks down to see Hatsumi as the princess of the fortress and confronts her on a bridge.

The guards try to stop Hazuki, but Hatsume passes by them. It turns out that she isnt Hatsumi after all, at least not in this story. but she is. But you know, she isn't. SO she doesn't recognize Hazuki.

Bummer man, I wanted yuri.

This girl does have Hatsumi's comb though, and invites Hazuki to the fortress to discuss some things.

Apparently the comb comes from a girl a dude found in a bamboo stalk.

What does this have to do with anything? I have no fucking clue.

But apparently it does and this girl grows up, and then disappears on her sixteenth birthday.

Lillith and Foxgirl are plotting to get to the fortress in the meantime and they observe the giggling titty masks attacking some guards.

Meanwhile, Hazuki and the princess seem to trust each other so the guards are cool with it. This could easily be a trap for the princess.

they seem way too trusting with all this suspicious activity around.

Lillith and the Foxgirl as well as the giggling titty masks all infiltrate the "fortress" WAY too easily.

Nobody in this fortress is worth a fuck.

Aaaanad quick impressions from what I've managed to watch since Thursday:

Eureka Ao 2

I didn't cry, ducky, but then I don't like original flavour Eureka Seven very much. I like Ao much better. Bring on the mystical yuta stuff for Naru and I'll be even happier.

Apollon 2

I think everyone's covered the really excellent directorial touches here; I don't think there's much more to say. It's super josei, with emphases on both super and josei.

Tsuritama 2

Catch a fish, save the world? I'm down with that. While the show's always enjoyable, Akira and Tapioca are really the highlight for me and I hope we get to see a lot more of them.

I find it very odd when the ED kicks in, though. I bought Spitz's Hachimitsu album after hearing their music in Honey and Clover so I know the ED really well, but it's weird hearing it covered like this. I guess HachiKuro already used Sakana as an insert song but that might have been appropriate here...
