Yeah, I played it.
Imagine it with the online patch that was added.
Me too. It was quite fun. And graphically impressive

All of our posts today are confirmation that we're releasing TECHNIKA TUNE in North America this summer.
Well maybe i'm not doing it right, however what I tried was doing the same thing that I did with my music. For music all I have to do is connect my Vita to my PC, then my Vita can take Music files from the music folder in my documents. I tried doing the same thing with the video, but when I go through the video section under the content manager on vita nothing shows up to transfer despite having my videos set up the same way I have my music.
Is there a special way to transfer Video? I assumed it was some kind of DRM in place in the digital copy, hoping i'm wrong.
I downloaded it as soon as I got my Vitawarning: do not check out the japanese demo of ragnarok odyssey. you are better off not knowing what you're missing. i know i was ...
game really needs to get localized. yesterday. would've made for an amazing launch game...
Not sure if there was a definite confirmation or not, but from the DJ Max facebook page:
We know the Korea version is coming out in June so looks like we won't have to wait TOO long for the NA version.
I downloaded it as soon as I got my Vita
Another TIP: Don't download Lord Of Apocalypse & Tales Of Innocence demos :[
plus gravity daze at launch = japanese vita >>> western vita ...
It is written here that Skype is coming today : http://*************************/2012/04/23/psn-update-april-24th-2012/3/
Wouldn't make since today since the store updates tomorrow, unless they mean japan but I have no idea what site that is lol
IIRC, Playstation Lifestyle was banned in 2008 for making up news in order to get hits. Why does neogaf censor the site?
I think they're being optimistic if they're taking this quote on the blog:It is written here that Skype is coming today
Most (all?) games don't allow you to play "proper" online using the 3G connection - it's locked to the WiFi only. I've tethered the Vita to my iPhone though and it was pretty good (I get an excellent signal where I tried it though). A lot of the games are using asynchronous multiplayer (ghosts, leaderboards and the like). So how's the MP holding up under 3G? d/l speeds? limited disk space hurdles (from PSN)?
That would be in line with what the PAL Blog guy said a few weeks ago. He said something about "end of the month".It is written here that Skype is coming today : http://*************************/2012/04/23/psn-update-april-24th-2012/3/
Starting later today, you can enjoy free Skype calls on PS Vita. You’ll be able to keep in touch with gamers around the globe while you’re on the go as Skype is available for both the 3G/Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi models.
The Skype app includes free Skype-to-Skype voice calling, as well as high-quality video calling that utilizes PS Vita’s front and rear cameras. The Skype app on PS Vita runs in “background mode” while you’re gaming or using other applications* — meaning you have the capability to “pause” a game, conduct a call and then return to your previous activity — so you never miss a call. Plus, with a little Skype credit you can make low-cost calls to landlines and mobile directly from your PS Vita.

Blog post.
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite with dual analog and online play has renewed my love for Vita. The game actually has playable controls now
If they can update the Skype app to use the Party audio hooks, then it'll be godlike.
The free app, which is expected to hit by 3PM Pacific today, will include a background mode that will allow users to received Skype calls during games, while using applications and even when the device is asleep as long as it remains connected to 3G or Wi-Fi, PlayStation officials told Polygon.
Which is good.
Doesn't sound like it's on the cards based on the extra detail in this report:
http://www.theverge.com/gaming/2012/4/24/2969841/skype-almost-turns-the-vita-into-a-phone-today
However that article does answer a lingering question I had:
Which is good.
but... how do we insure that the wifi/3g stays on? Last I checked, hitting the sleep button turns those off unless you have near randomly connect for data location.
It's only 20 bucks mang!I really want to play that game, but I'm holding off (being hopeful) and waiting for a new MH game.
I haven't played MH since the original on PS2... I need to play the newer ones.
Dunno, haven't tested since the last update, which IIRC kept a connection open when you put it to sleep if you were downloading something. So maybe same thing here, if you have skype open, it'll leave the connection on when you put it to sleep.
Except when you play one of those games that disable your network connection... like Sony's biggest game for the system does.Skype on Vita seems awesome, multitasking and video call. I love the way you recieve a call while playing

...point out Sony's mistakes?Haters gonna.....
I can't possibly figure out why I'd ever use Skype on a Vita* but I guess it's a good thing that people have the option.
*Or any dedicated games handheld, really.
like Sony's biggest game for the system does.
...point out Sony's mistakes?
Last I checked Uncharted was their biggest retail seller. Could have changed by now.Eh? WipEout doesn't disable the network.
No, they're not. They're small failures in a long list of small failures that add up to the perception that Sony has good ideas but continues to fail to execute them properly....Like they're enormous and tragical failures...
But they're not....
It's probably a given that people will have different priorities, but moaning about little stuff that will probably eventually be addressed by firmware updates seems silly to me when there are big things that are missing from the competition. If that makes me a hater, fine. I'd consider myself to be a customer that sees what other companies can do and continues to be disappointed that Sony struggles to deliver the same quality.

Has Sony said they'll patch this out? If so, that's a great thing. It's probably a given that people will have different priorities, but moaning about little stuff that will probably eventually be addressed by firmware updates seems silly to me when there are big things that are missing from the competition.
I agree on the hardware side of things. The Vita is absolutely amazing. I'lll disagree with the no region lock because they only allow one account and seeing how SCEE constantly messes up release dates (constant delays) I'm not really happy about not being able to have two accounts on the system. Sony gets the hardware right but they just lack on the software side of things and they need to hire some people that know what they're doing and especially people who say "stop" when a feature is there but not at least as good as what the competition is offering. Here are some things that Sony got right: OLED screen, dual analog sticks, no region lock, SDK that's available to hobbyists.
Yep. Map right stick to dpad and you have the definitive MH in the USOh man, dual analog sticks with with that? I wanted to love that game so much but I couldn't get over the nub analog and button camera on the PSP.
I may have to give it another shot.
You're not one of those "why isn't the Vita a full-fledged cell phone" people, are you?Sony gets the hardware right but they just lack on the software side of things and they need to hire some people that know what they're doing and especially people who say "stop" when a feature is there but not at least as good as what the competition is offering.

I'm coming from left field to ask is the only way to get Puzzle Quest through the ps3? I have tried looking on the store on the vita and can't find it anywhere. Treasures of montezuma just makes me want to play the superior game lol.
That's what I was told. I haven't tried it yet because all my time is taken up by TitS.
Nope, I already have a cell phone. My main problem is that it pretty much always goes like this:You're not one of those "why isn't the Vita a full-fledged cell phone" people, are you?
Who is the competition and what features are you talking about?
Trails in the Sky. Your post combined with your profile pic made me laugh. I read it in Ron Swanson's voice.Don't make me Google what TitS is. I am sure work won't like the results.
So scratching my head here a bit. Anyone else with a 3G version have this happen?
I have hardly used my 3G at all .. just to sync trophies from time to time and check out friends. No downloads at all.. only done via WIFI.
Today I get a message on my phone saying I have 1% (or 30min of talk time) of my data plan left.
No way have I used 250mb this month.. is there any app or game that stays connected or is there a way to see a history of where my data went? I can not seem to find this on the supplied link to the website or on my vita.
Any input would be welcomed.
