Hey, I recognize that. It's in downtown Vancouver, a stairway leading from street level down to a university campus (and small skating rink). They had it painted with a mural for the Olympics, it was pretty nice. Then they removed that, and it's back to plain 'ol concrete. Speaking as someone who doesn't use a wheelchair, it feels a lot safer than it looks in that picture.
I wish I lived where some of these other pictures are from, though! Good gravy!

Well it's Chinese, so that "safety glass" is probably made of recycled shampoo bottles.
Based on the overhangs it really reminds me of my time in China.

I've been lucky enough to see a Venus eclipse (moon passing in front of Venus) in person.Reminds of of Album Art or something.

Was that taken with a telescope or something? Venus always looks like a very bright "star" on the night sky, but actually seeing the planet like that??
Yeah I'm very confused about this as well.
You can see Venus transit across the Sun on June 6th. With something to block the light, like with any other time you would look at the Sun of course. It'll probably be the last time you can see in your lifetime.

For people wondering, this building is in Barcelona, and it houses a publishing company. I used to walk right by it when I went to my university, it's pretty cool.
