Wow someone is salty :lol.Just another example of a Junior member's "contribution".
So...it's Brain Age with leaderboards?
Just another example of Sony's "innovation."
Let's see the product before we vaporize it, GAF.
Everything in this world is already invented. It doesn't remove the fact that there are those who start trends and those who only follow them. The fuck, did Nintendo invent fucking "brain" games or something?

Reminds me of this Canadian game show that I use to watch.

Meh.
Sony got a plan right? Right?
Probably better to compare them with facebook apps that already do something similar. Nintendo is still apparently allergic to online, though, so Brain Age comments are always funny.Train your brain in minutes a day*.
*now also a social experience
There are countless Brain Training knock-offs on iOS etc. I don't know what they want to achieve with this, looks simple standard fare.

Whatever would we do if Nintendo hadn't singlehandedly invented puzzle games eh?
This is getting a tad bit out of hand. Desperate Sony seems to be worse/copycat Sony.

Yes, because this game started development 3 months ago.

Sony, a main competitor to Nintendo, announces a "brain-training" (term used in the press release) puzzle game for their handheld device.
Years ago, Nintendo released "Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training" for the DS, which is what helped the device explode into popularity
I think there's a difference between Sony attempting a hilariously pathetic attempt to try and capture that success in a VERY different market years later, then anyone claiming Nintendo invented puzzle games.
Considering Sony has probably funded the most new franchises this generation, they certainly must not be the latter. Infamous, Uncharted, Last Guardian, Journey, Motorstorm, and Resistance are all new franchises.
As Carl mentioned above, this game has been known for a very long time. Here is an 11 month trailer for it:Yes, because Sony´s problems started 3 months ago.
so because something's been done, no one should try to do it either/improve upon it?
Umm, no, actually. What does it mean?Do people not understand the concept of "catalogue title"? Seems not.
I would just like to think that Sony should also try to develop/announce new experiences for their new handheld. Not just copy things competitors did years ago.
A lot of people here feel that their favorite publishers "owe them," and whenever a game is announced that targets a different audience, it's consistently met with disappointment and hostility.
It's an extreme lack of foresight, and people would rather cry foul than understand that broadly-appealing software is designed to bring in steady cash flow to help fund bigger budget projects, and increase the usage of new functions of hardware (i.e. Augmented Reality, or rear-based touchscreens).
A lot of people don't understand what it means to 'create a market' and support that market, either. Brain Age wasn't just a game - it created an entire segment of users who consume that type of content. Seeing another publisher create this content is not a 'me too' strategy as much as it is a recognition of an established segment and creating product to fill that demand. The audience creates these products as much as the developers. There's really no reason to get angry; some of these ideas sound interesting, and if anything, will get secondary users (parents, siblings) to pick up the Vita in the house and check out new features exclusive to the handheld.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Nintendo is still allowed to incorporate online and HD. They're also allowed to copy anything else.so because something's been done, no one should try to do it either/improve upon it?
