To be fair, it's not exactly the most interesting thing. I appreciate the work, but a language translator just doesn't get the blood pumping.

Travelers will love the 3DS. Or think of tourists in the Louvre who can ask what they want to know in their language.

This could be pretty big. Learn new languages with ease.. I would love that!

If it actually came to fruition, then it would be interesting.
As is, not so much (especially since we don't have voice chat on the 3DS yet until Heroes of Ruin).
But that's exactly what makes it interesting in my opinion. What exactly did this company do on a platform that doesn't even do plain old voice chat, let alone the stuff they do?

I don't think that's what they were/ are working on...

Yo third parties, of the announced (or pretty much confirmed) these are the ones I am considering.

DarkSiders II
Black Ops 2
Assasin's Creed 3 (Or maybe not if I should play through the other ones first...)

The first one of you to announce that their game can be played only on the controller while I have my TV off gets my money.

GO!

Yes I realize that no one from these companies come on here...most likely.

Come on E3. Get here already. I really hope most games have the play on controller only function. If not I will be severally dissapointed...

If he talks like that during the show I will probably shoot myself.

"Hey... Audience. Are you ready to see the Wii U?"
@_@

Didn't Vigil say they already had that feature running at E3?

I think mine leaked a little.

After watching this again

Was the concept of using 2 wiimotes per person ever utilized?

Also that first footage of excite truck is still awesome. The fucking blistering speed and camera work for speed was awesome. Well done Monster Games.

A few games made use of the 2 WiiMote thing. Like Samba de Amigo.

When I get up all in ya
We can hear the angels calling us
We can see the sunrise before us
And when I'm in that thang, I'll make that body sang
I make it say...

Wii U Wii U Wii (Wii),
Wii U Wii U Wii (Wii),
Wii U Wii U Wii (Wii),
(Like a cop car)

That there is the official WiiU launch Anthem

My aunt & uncle run a Mom & Pop store, "The Gamecube Hut", and sold 80k WiiU within minutes of opening.

What do you think of the hue change in the blue portion of the logo? On the RGB scale, its pretty much less green than the original. Does this darker blue indicate a change in direction to court core gamers?

Disappointed they're keeping the name. I really think that'll come back to bite them..

Most people I know who bought the Wii "casually" for Wii Sports just see it as a fad now. If they want to hook that same audience to Wii U, it may be tough.

Can't tell for sure if you're joking or not...

I do like the slightly darker blue myself but I doubt a darker shade of blue would attract more core gamers. A change in name would better server that purpose.

It really isn't though. name doesn't really matter except to enthusiasts. Marketing is all that matters. If it is marketed well demand will be there.

Its like sports. You hate and talk shit about a player that isn't on your team but the minute your team acquires said player you now love him and root for him. There really is no loyalty. You just gotta give people what they want. If nintendo succeeds this time in what they set out to do with the Wii and that is to propagate a gaming ecosystem for everyone, No one is going to care what the system is called, it will be the next big thing.

The games will sell the console, the console name will inform Wii owners that their Wii accessories will be compatible with the system. So no need to buy a new balance board, wiimotes, etc. Just replace the white box, and you get a snazzy tablet controller for the effort.

I've lived my whole life in Holland and I never saw a hot chick cop. Lies I tell you.

Btw... just watched the Reggie thing and he looks a bit sullen.

This is the guy who came up with the "GameCube Hut" GAF meme ... look at his tag. The guy has a sense of humor.
