Sega killed the possibility of Bayonetta 2. This keeps the lights on and gets a Kamiya game out.

It was hard to believe this stuff considering the game was never even announced.

When people make the same shit again, GAF complains. When a noted game director tries something totally new, people complain he's not making the same shit again.

Man, no one is ever satisfied.

The game does look cool, but the character action genre is more or less completely dead, people are seeing this as the final nail in the Bayo 2 cancellation and that is making it impossible to give this game a fair shake.

I'm one of the few who don't seem to be displeased with came out of nintendo or sony this year. This and pikmin 3 are more than enough for me as launch titles. Only GC launch window that had more time out of me was waverace so I'm good with what they announced.

So, Platinum games makes something that doesn't have a "mature" bend to it for the first time in a while. Happy to see it!

Solid Platinum gameplay, multiplayer, and full of that purely Japanese-bred super-sentai / kaiju charm that's appealing to the young and old.

After a day of seeing Developers give me exactly what I expect from them, it's nice to see something unique and different from a high-quality dev.

Haha, one of the GTE3 tweets just mentioned it reminds him of something along the lines of Gunstar Heroes. I can deal with those kind of comparisions!

Yeah thats one thing people need to keep in mind. As much as I wanted all 3 conferences to be mindblowing, Nintendo in particular...system launches are never really spectacular, save for maybe 1 or 2 games.


People really just expected price and launch date...but I guess all we know is Holiday 2012, so that could be somewhere in late October-December.

I dunno exactly. I guess SEGA owns all of the IP's if they own Bayonetta. Hopefully after Metal Gear Rising, we will see another character action title from P* and especially Kamiya.

Keep this in mind. EVERY Platinum games title looks terrible the first time you see it. Then its incredibly fun when it hits.

Because every game shown for Wii U has been kiddy. I hate bringing up that old term from the N64 days, but come on! Nintendo were supposed to be going after gamers. This is not how you do it, especially not with Kamiya. He should be working on a bigger title. If this is a downloadable game, then I'll give it a pass. Other wise it is a waste of resources and potential. They have shown nothing that wasn't already known for months. He should be working on a big game now if their library is that limited. It's a complete mismanagement of time.

This is one of the few games I've seen that's gotten me excited this year. Looks really cool, but I enjoy stuff like this a hell of a lot more than typical blockbuster games. Will follow with interest and enthusiasm.
