I've been finding lately that for me the stream chat is often more captivating and entertaining than whats happening on the stream itself, and as I've said before nothing makes me laugh these days like a stream chat. I can watch a half hour sitcom and not even chuckle once, but when I see something like "My Neighbor Artaro" immediately after hearing Triforce fail to pronounce Arturo I just lose my shit for a minute straight.
I would happily read a book penned by HeySp00ky, but that being said the evil (or as I like to call them, shin stream monsters) who are just purely negative and hateful all the time in a completely serious manner are pretty awful. I think the real problem with stream chats right now is the constant copy/paste stuff, the truly funny stuff is often spontaneous and spur of the moment.
Either way, these people cannot be controlled, you either remove the chat completely or you deal with it. No matter what kind of bans or time outs you impose, stream monsters will ALWAYS find a way.
I also found this excerpt from a comment on the stream monsters facebook page kinda funny;
The community is still so childish, I dont know how anyone expects the viewers to grow up. Look at the buildup to the Unknown/Andre money match. That salty suite video of andre and unknown yelling at each other like two drunk preteens who cant hold their liquor. It makes me laugh so hard that the community doesnt want to police itself but instead worries so much about the people watching.
