Honestly, Eliver was AMAZING in that trailer in the sense that you wouldn't expect him to do half as good as you thought he would. Assuming he isn't an actual amateur actor, I thought he did pretty damn good as just someone that was asked to do it for fun. When he host the show, he never seems that charismatic to me but he did pretty good when it came to this intro.
The blue shirt is probably my favorite. It looks really nice.

He lost to OmegaDR, who isn't coming to EVO apparently because Namco haven't pay him his money yet for that Vegas tournament. If he is coming he would have been a favourite.
Don't see anything wrong, he's godlike in 3/5 and will download everyone. If he goes up against J Wong in the Grand Finals he'll probably win EVO. The only issue is that he doesn't seem to have a clue to beating Chris G's soul fists and he will probably not beat Chris G if they meet.

Mike's prediction isn't far fetched at all. Justin winning two 1000+ man tournament probably won't happen, but it's kind of see able.
I think MK9, KOF, and SFxT are pretty much locks.

Fanatiq isn't a long shot either. Dude is solid as fuck right now, the MM training and FGTV stay did wonders for his Marvel play. I agree with Mike Ross in that Justin is EXTREMELY hungry right now, he wants the Marvel crown back.

I agree with you. I watched Justin's stream where he ran sets with Yipes, Combofiend, and Cl0ck and it feels like he approach the game completely different.
I hope Marlinpie makes top 8 though... and Cl0ckw0rk.

Justin is finally putting his talent into top tier characters in this game, which has been soooo fruitful for him. I've never seen him like this in my time following the scene, much less anybody with the passion for glory he has right now.
And a Marlinpie vs. Chris G. Grand finals is my wet dream
Justin can open you up without even using a mix up. That's how good he is in Marvel. He beats you by downloading you, reading you and then out footsieing you.
If Iron Fist was a legitimate Mid tier and above character then Justin would've won EVO with him easy. His Iron Fist has as many tournament wins as the 3 best characters in the game (Zero, Viper, Vergil).

I can see Wong taking Marvel, but AE is probably not gonna be our game this year either. We might not even have a guy in the top 2 or 3 of AE.
