Could it have been a live stream/leaked video and someone used fraps to take a screenshot of it? Fraps works in a ton of scenarios. Then again, the resolution doesn't match up, unless they cropped it. Either way, I don't trust it.

It's definitely cropped at the bottom, the icons are cut off.

Even Capcom's community guy has said their August announcement will not be about P3rd, which is the only Vita MH they were going to do imho.

So, has anyone identified the game? Hunter Blade was bleh but at the same time it showed a studio could in theory make a pretty good clone, and this thing visually looks alright enough to think they put some effort into it. Or has it been confirmed that people just took models from MonHun (since many of those look like existing equipment, not just rip offs of such) slapped them into some other environment and produced a render that looks liike it's in game enough to be mistaken in blurry images like these (with the improved visuals being only thanks to better lighting effects and the higher res than Capcom-redone "HD" models etc).

Fake or not, this makes me salivate at the idea of a Monster Hunter that doesn't look like a blurry mess. I don't see how anyone call MH4 good looking compared to something like in OP's screen. I wish Capcom wasn't so damn cheap and just gave us a Monster Hunter with assets that didn't still look like PS2 graphics.
