2 eps later it's still silly , still a waste of time i don't believe for one moment that it will get better

EP3 was nothing but sillyness
EP4 wanted me to understand that very big breasts are a pain because you can't dive with them...
But was a GIANT OCTUPUS , raping people and spewing them out cold afterwards really necessary ?

Well, I wasn't going to watch anymore tonight but you've convinced me.

The official Hyouka site has put up some new key visual art for the next story arc:

Hmmmm.... the official PR Twitter account for the Persona 3 movie seems to be implying in a post teasing more news in future that the project might consist of more than a single movie. I wonder if they're going to do something like Kara no Kyoukai...

Hopefully Sentai picks it up, though with JPN Audio BD rights too. I think P3 could work in about three movies, or two if they wanna keep it action intense and focused, though I want Kenji's, and BeBe's, and Akinari's social links given good coverage.

Fucking filth. All ignored. Just look at this rogue's gallery of depravity. Well, you're all exposed now. EXPOSED!

Wanna hear a good joke? Waste your time helping me! LOL!
I'm trying my best!

Well not my BEST but I'm trying. sort of. But I'm about to go to a movie so I can't post for a few hours :(
Nah, you make on-topic posts. I usually just complain about something random or give uneducated opinions.
I don't approve of people spamming.
It's not spam if I space it out enough right? Worked well for the last OT!

The Motion Picture and Television Engineering Society of Japan announced the winners for the 65th MPTE Awards earlier today. Black Rock Shooter actually won the prize for technical achievement in animation in the televison category, with Wandering Son taking an honorable mention for the same. Ei Aoki was happy enough with the latter that he tweeted his gratitude and congratulated the staff of the series for all their work.

Deep thinking
A plot ?

Ep7 marked the definite end of comedy and we got some Plot .. as a result EP8 we get this ^^^

i honestly don't know why i'm still watching this ..it's totally mediocre ( except EP7 that was genuily better than the others but still average ).

The last anime i watched knowing it couldn't get better was "shining bread" But i can't make comparaisons BECAUSE Manyuu has way more stories to tell than shining and there is a real attempt to make some thing funny when shining missed everything they tried to do.

I'm sad because if Ep7 didn't exist this would had been dropped for sure..

EDIT : Well one bad joke later the show went back to silly things and commic reliefs ..

Gundam Wing 18

Duo Maxwells speech was pretty good there
Heero taking Duo's name, lol
. I wish I could have captured the moment but when Trieze was standing proudly in the mobile suit after proving a point at some base, I got excited really his best pose and now Im starting to wonder if he is even a pilot himself. Im betting hes even better than Zechs, and on Zechs
hopefully he keeps the hat ditched, I liked how he managed to actually get away from the 50 mobile suits against, good motion and dynamis

Well, I enjoy shows where you can just laugh and have a good time. Sometimes I'm hesitant to watch a show that makes a bunch of references in case I haven't seen the shows being referenced. While it might not be that much of a problem if you miss them and it's just perhaps a more personal thing with me, I'd like to know what's being referenced.

I'm watching Binbogami ga! on Comicblizzards recommendations earlier and so far I've gotten all the references that show has made I believe. The few clips I've seen of Gintama I've enjoyed but along with the long episode count, it's making references is what makes me slightly hesitant to watch it, at the moment anyway. Maybe it's not as reference heavy as it comes across.

At least as of how far I currently am, I would say Hayate is a fun enough show on its own merits. The references are just bonus to the fun, and relatively sparse.

What's filthy about two some age young boys staring really closely at each other?

Seriously, pay closer attention. Boys. Boys are always wholesome and pure, girls are just bundles of unrestrained lust and debauchery that inspire the most taboo and abhorrent impulses of man simply by existing.

You make it sound like that's a bad thing. :p

While I know you don't hate every female as you like Chris from Symphogear, it just came across that you really hated the majority of female characters. It could be because of the part it your quote that I highlighted though and we're just not watching the same types of shows.

I am watching Saint Seiya Omega though and would have to disagree about Yuna being useless. If you remember your conversation with 7Th then I'm in line with his way of thinking regarding her character. It seems he didn't change your mind though so I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. What do you think about the character
Sonya? (The girl in the red and black armor)
What's your opinion on her?

Also regarding Inori in Guilty Crown would you still like her if she wasn't
Shu's sword?
Did you give your opinion on what you thought of Ayase(the wheelchair girl)? I don't recall.

Regarding your "worthless deadweight" type comment, didn't you find Shu in Guilty Crown often displayed this self hating defeatist type attitude? That's one of the reasons many people don't seem to care for him and Shinji from Evangelion

I just wanted some clarification on why you seemed to dislike so many female characters is all.

I have pretty low hopes for her to be honest. Theres been no memorable good female antagonist in the genre. Seems to be pretty awful of a character, doesnt look like she has any potential to be a compelling antagonist and based on her elemental alignment, it will be great to see Soma destroy her if they go in that route? Only actually decent female character in Saint Seiya Omega has been Athena, actually courageous and does something worth mentioning exceeding expectations. If Yuna would only increase her enemy defeated count to being at Koga's level then maybe she can be better. Sure you may say Soma has not has as many wins as Kouga, but at least he has been there from the start supporting Kouga through hard trials and lending friendship, while Yuna has only been tending to Athena extensively, ignoring Souma and Kouga. I think that that does make him even more a cool and better designed character even if his fighting skills arent at Kouga level.

Inori would have lost just about everything she had going for her. Sure as Egoist the song is nice, but otherwise not being an asset for Shu would make her really way less appealing and just typical anime female character. She would be on Ayase's level, characters that are just there to increase the numbers in the plot but really provide no other benefit than just kind of nudging Shu forward but being unsuccessful. Part of the good thing with Inori as she was was, as an essential asset for him, she was able to, in his most down moments give him some hope to go on and serve as inspiration, knowing that he could utilize her when he needed the support.

Ayase was alright as a Endlave pilot and during that one scene with Shu
when she had legs
but otherwise pretty much not really a character worth mentioning as a whole, actually kind of anger inducing at several points due to her actions, however was definitely a vital access in rounding out this good anime.

I have trouble thinking of the qualities that would make an actually likeable female character in a context not with a male protagonist or a context of not taking looks into account.

I like that kind of down depressed attitude for main characters though. It makes them creative, realistic, and kind of someone to relate to. I imagine people have had or would have those sorts of feelings toward things. It a great setup for extensive character development and growth, and it always leads to scenes where this sort of unenthusiastic negative character just rises to the occasion and shocks everyone. Isnt that good? Unlike the characters I mentioned, Shou actually has power and actually does stuff to make him not be a worthless deadweight.

Those 2 eps completely took me by surprise as the Quality just went up suddenly

Best character in the show no doubt
The last part of ep8, was made with ANIMATION..i repeat , ANIMATION

i can' t believe it.

This was clearly a well paced EP overall and my interest in this show rose a bit .

And then came EP9

There are too many moments of WTF i could have screencapped but i don't want to spoil the rest ..

Trully this show is mediocre but has very nice highlights...
