A 'Triple A' exclusive being announced for Wii? I'd be stunned if anyone bothered at this point.

KH3 will be interesting though, it seemed like it was bound to be PS360, but at this point, that doesn't seem so likely.

After BbS, I was fucking pumped for KH3. After KH3D, I'm no longer hyped. :(

Haha I feel the same way, KH 3D us a good game but after Bbs they really should have brought the IP back to home consoles.
BbS is still the best title in the series.

Famitsu is teasing surprise news for this week's magazine... so if this is related it can't be an iOS port

It can be an iOS sequel.

/OT I guess you didn't like KH3D too? It's my least favorite KH to date together with 358/2 days actually, eheh. Birth by Sleep hasn't been topped yet, sadly. I really hope Kingdom Hearts III's development just started and will be out between 2013 and 2014 for PS3 and 360, this series deserves a closure as soon as possible.

Could go either way. But I'll be more excited if the scoop turned out to be a SMT4 blow out the week before the first trailer is attached on the Soul Hackers release. :)

Iirc FF3 PSP was first announced there.

Right, I meant that the timeline seems off for this to be a Famitsu scoop this week. Seems more likely it'll be in magazines next week, if at all.

I'd be shocked if it wasn't a sequel. Nomura himself has been hinting at it since at least April, on more than one occasion. The KH3D appearance helps build momentum for the timing of this announcement as well.

Just goes to show that his subtle hints aren't meaningless. He's also dropped quite a few blatant hints about Kingdom Hearts 3 coming back to consoles, so that won't shock me when they get around to that announcement ... one of these days ...

I have to get back to the original sometime soon. Loved the music, the setting, hated the battle system. But maybe that was just because I played it on my old DS lite that had a broken touchscreen.
Whatever this new game is, I'm looking forward to some new music.

Holy crap! Today's real megaton is that more than two people can have the same first name.
I really hope for a sequel.
It would make sense, considering the TWEWY characters appeared in KH3D, and I really can't see the original game being playable after porting to a non-dual screen device.

A 3DS sequel would make sense as Neku was in KH3D. Still, I'd not be surprised in the slightest if the announcement is iOS-related.
