Which leaves these games potentially going to waste. I can throw them up on steamgifts but if someone wants to trade me other Steam games for them I would much rather do that (I don't have a paypal account for you to buy them outright).

You get separate keys for each game. Edit: And I think that includes the same game as well, but I'm not totally sure on that.
I think you can use a real US address and get the deals, unless that has changed recently.
Europeans just need to use an American shipping address with their regular payment card.
I bought loads of stuff last time round from the UK.
