Well after 2 hours of trying different things, I got Mirrors Edge at least, so I'm happy.
(I got it working one with one game in private browsing using the link mentioned above)

1) Use a new incognito/private window.
2) Add the game you want to get to your cart.
3) Apply the code. If the cost of the game isn't reduced to 0, then the code doesn't work with that game.
4) Click checkout.
5) At the screen where it asks for new account info, LOGIN at the top of the screen.
6) At this point, if you're asked for your CC info, you can't use the code for that game.

When trying to get the Mirror's Edge DLC, it asks for my CC info when I log in. However, for Simcity 4 Deluxe, it did NOT. It might depend on the game, but the main thing is this: just because you can't get one game to work, doesn't mean it won't work for any other games.

Haven't tried that yet, but I doubt it's going to work for me. I've tried like 6 browsers and 4 different devices, one of which was in another town.

It may have been part of a second promotion/sale that Origin had going on. Or the person just payed the extra $10. Not sure.

Try clearing cookies, using a mobile device, using the client, proxys, or incognito windows. YMMV.

tried using a mobile device here to grab one more The Sims 2 expansion pack and no go as soon as I login the code suddenly becomes invalid

for the record, this is the first time I attempted to use the code with my iPad

To download your game just visit the "My Games" section of the Origin Download Manager. Please install and register your serial number for Bulletstorm™.

The problem is, there is no serial.

You need to wait until you get the confirmation email. Some emails get sent immediately, others can take a while. When is shows up, reload the My Games tab (should be a button near the top).

It's not invalid. I was just able to get Spore, Karkand, and somehow another 4 from my saved shopping cart in Chrome from last night. It wouldn't apply the coupon to multiple games earlier today but it took my shopping cart from last night lol

I'm really not interested in anything else but I was able to get Back to Karkand for free...Huh. I added Spore and Karkand, it would apply the coupon to the cheapest one, Karkand, so I removed Spore and it saved Karkand as $0.00. Doesn't seem like this will work for Close Quarters and Armored Kill. I tried to get Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack but it said "Payment Authorization Failed" in the same Chrome instance I got the 4 from last night on, so maybe that was it? Anyway, I don't really care!

I contacted EA chat again and they made me reinstall origin and the game (which I did earlier, still didn't work), problem escalated to higher ups and gotta wait for email for solution. Just weird that no one has gotten the problem before

Was able to get Mirror's Edge, Bullet Storm, and Hot Pursuit. Hopefully Hot Pursuit is as good as the classic PS1 game of the same name.
