You're not serious? GTA4 sold twenty million copies, there won't be twenty million GTAV perspective owners on PS480 for three years.Still find it silly, but their reasoning is fair if financially questionable.

I hope next gen doesn't steal this game's thunder.

We shall see. SA sold far more than the other two, because it had the largest install base.GTA IV sold 20 million copies over a number of years. GTAV won't sell close to that much on PS360 if the other new consoles are launched next year.

Adding additional SKUs is costly, it takes development focus away from original content. If adding a Wii U SKU adds 500k of sales, maybe they don't believe that's justified, and maybe they're right. Certainly making it for the next two would produce even less rewards.
Yeah, San Andreas did gangbusters and it launched exactly a year before 360. There could be a somewhat smaller window here between V and the next consoles, but I don't think it'll hurt sales dramatically.
There will be a PC version.I don't think it should be an 'all next gen' project, but no PC (more than WiiU) just seems silly at this point in the generation and with the grow of PC as a platform.
Will buy for PC.
What next gen? They won't be out until next fall if anything.
There will be a PC version.
Suppose game comes out end of may, next gen gets announced 2 3 weeks later. The latest buzz will be those news.

Like Red Dead Redemption, I doubt we will see a PC release full stop. It makes you question the credibility of the 'master race', when none of the industry's top three IP's are releasing on PC.
These posts make you question the credibility of the console peasants, where bad framerates, jaggies and crappy resolutions are viewed as a bonus for the quality of the game.

I hope Boris won't pass on the ENB, with this one (since he skipped both Dark Souls and Dishonored. :\ )
It can extend the graphical life of the game quite a bit:
Infact, i'm a bit afraid the initial graphical impact will be softened by the GTAIV ENB.

There's no reason to think they intend to support the platform going forward, so the instilling a user base as a motive might be invalid. It seems odd that there's no Wii U version. If I were a publisher, I would want my game to be everywhere it possibly could be. And so close to the release of a new Nintendo console would be the perfect opportunity to try and reach out to that audience.
Besides, how much could a port possibly cost? You know they're going to make their investments back and then some in the first 24 hours anyway.
Delayed from Oct 07 to Apr 08.Did GTA IV come out at the right date or was there delay ?
Don't count on it. Boris was really mad R* botched his work with every patch they released for GTA 4.
Who're you trying to fool? There are now buyers on PC, only filthy pirates.

Rottweiler as pets confirmed!
Also, NO PC GODDAMNIT.
It's not fake but of course here come the conspiracy theorists.
Yeah I can't see Rockstar not releasing a PC version, especially given that previous GTA games have been on PC.
But 4-6 months later.
Worm. Hook. Caught.
The last one sold over 20 million units.
2013 is one incredible year for current-gen releases. Not sure we've seen a generation go out with such a bang quite like this before.
Hopefully this is going out with a bang, and not a bunch of games being pushed out the door before those platforms are no longer viable.2013 is one incredible year for current-gen releases. Not sure we've seen a generation go out with such a bang quite like this before.
I'm so ready. I have to beat III, Vice City, and San Andreas though and I have Black 2, AC III, Halo 4, and Black Ops II to play so this wait won't be very long for me.
notsureifserious.jpgWow wow wow. Is that Black 2?? Like a sequel to the PS2 first person shooter Black??
That game was great.
No, he lists that separately.notsureifserious.jpg
He talks about COD: Black Ops 2
I literally have no idea anymore. Initially without paying much attention, I thought they were wraparounds for a promo cube/block but second glance made me realise it can't be.
Their layout makes little sense......
