Reading through some of this... i am reminded of part of a lecture i was a fan of a few years back, part of which was about the power of the human mind. The lecturer was talking about human intuition as being a great thing, but the mind itself is a nightmare of a tool. He made some points about the human mind and how it works stating that "it would rather have its host dead, than be wrong". He then went on to cite examples of people who dont want to go to the doctor for a checkup, even though they know for a fact something might be wrong. So there you have it, the person knows they might have a life threatening illness, and knows that early detection can save them, but still wont go to the doctor because the mind refuses to believe its happening. You are not your mind, the mind is a tool designed by nature to govern thought and action at all costs, even to your own demise. I think its important to remember this when reading through some of these posts where people are refusing to even consider that the Wii U might be onto something. It also makes dealing with those who refuse to give an inch of positivity easier because, as you can see, the mind would rather have its owner dead than be wrong.
