It's bricked completely? Or it just won't connect to the internet? I had the latter problem.

I'm torn between BLOPS2 or NG3...

NG3 is tempting, but the reviews kinda turn me off, I know I shouldn't let myself be influenced by these but GAF's consensus isn't really better.

BLOPS2 is interesting because I never went into a COD game, always said those were pale copies of each others, but I watched a friend play online and it seemed quite fun, plus I heard the WiiU had better performances than the PS360, anybody tried it?

Can't wait to get NSMBU by mail tomorrow. D:

Yea, I am trying to figure that out as well. I put my serial number into club Nintendo and it asks me to link my system, which I have already done, yet I don't get the coins. very weird.

I picked it up and was nice to find out it was only 40$. The only launch game I'm worried about that I picked up is epic Mickey 2. I got it for the co-op but the reviews are terrible.

The Wii U launch could be end up being a minor disaster. I've never seen such a lukewarm reception to a new major console launch. Has it been mentioned that there is no support for DLC yet? Lots of basic functionality not yet active! A day one hour long firmware update! And judging by the new RAM details it's going to be very difficult to produce ports of mildly complex X360/PS3 games because of the reduced bandwidth.

Someone should be calling for Iwata's head. He may end up going the way Gunpei Yokoi after the Virtual Boy fiasco.

So I only picked up NSMBU and ZombiU for the time being, and I might hit the store again when I hear/see more impressions of other titles. Also, that meant there was no reason to buy a Pro Controller yet. So ~$150 saved for now.

I'm updating, so I haven't tried my copy yet, but Treyarch did a fantastic job with the Wii version of CoD. They're easy targets for criticism, but the multiplayer is really fun. One of CoD's primary reasons for success is the same reason that many Nintendo games are successful, crisp controls. (and with the Wii U version, you have quite a number of control options available)

I headed out at 11:35 as the mall opens at noon.
Got there around 11:45 am to the Gamestop entrance and then within a couple of minutes there was a line behind me. It was about 15 people. I mentioned how people should be able to walk in places and get one of these pretty easy due to lack of hype but the Gamestop employee said "actually, you'd be surprised". I guess its selling well here. There was a line at Best buy too but that could be for anything really.

Bought BLOPS2 and online is great , have had no lag but there are currently only 173 people online. Also, I though the campaign looked a bit sharper but took some frame rate hits when compared to the Xbox

OK, the gamepad is stunning. The way video is streamed is infinitely better than the best I could have hoped. It really looks as if it's running natively on the pad (unless you look very closely at certain details) and delivers a smooth 60 fps. Black Ops 2 running on the pad at 60 fps is really damn impressive with near perfect image quality and AA (not the case when viewed on the big screen where it is ultra jaggy).

I'm really impressed.

Updated and installed in about an hour. Setup two users pretty quickly. Doesn't look like you receive a notification when someone tries to add you, which is too bad. Updating for Nintendo Land now.

That's for PC. For Mac's, go to System Preferences. "Gateway" on Wii U is your "Router" on Mac.
