Also when we talk about ready made meals are we talking the cheap shite? Some of the higher priced/higher quality stuff is amazing. Marks and Spencers for example do some great stuff as do Sainsbury's and the Extra Special range at Asda.

Here's what a burger needs: Cheese (cheddar or pepperjack), lettuce, pickles, jalapenos, mustard -- those are necessities. Ketchup works well when done in conjunction with mayo unless it's a flavored mayo (chipotle) at which point no other spread is necessary. Bacon is always a huge plus.
No tomato? This relationship is over!

I always order everything with no onion, no tomato. I can take a tomato off if it sneaks on there but if they give me an onion I am sending it back. The food is tainted.
My only problem with them is the portion sizes are incredibly small. Anybody who has a bad opinion of ready meals hasn't tried some of the stuff from M&S.
Easily my favourite combo from the takeaway burger/pizza places.

Yes.
That's partly why I'd rather have a Whopper than a Big Mac, because I don't have to wait for someone to conjure one from scratch. The other reason is because Whoppers are just better than Big Macs.
Not even a competition these days. Big Macs have shrunk where as the Double Whopper in particular is a meat fest of manly proportions :|

Strangely with Onions - Detest them raw and they get a swift boot from any food they have the audacity to appear in BUT.....They are amazing when fried and also decent when boiled and used on a Hot Dog.

Onions are normally rank, they're okay in some things though. They ruin the texture when mixed in a sauce though imo
Yes! Just repulsive. Even when they're cooked and people claim you can't taste them, if I bite into one I about wretch. The crunch is always there for me and that disgusting taste floods my mouth. So gross.
