Project Versus J (JUMP crossover game) announced, for PS3/Vita

Let's hope it's more like this:

And less like this:

This cannot be stated enough, but I believe it will be like this....

Which isn't tooo bad.... better then DON, I just don't want one button combos....

IntelliHeath

As in "Heathcliff"
This game have a lot of potential if they did it right. I really hope that they would pull it off. They have huge library where they can pick interesting characters from. Also I really hope that they don't go overboard with popular manga, because I would love to see several characters from other series.

Death Note
Eyeshield 21
Bakuman
Gintama
Buso Renkin
Black Cat
Shaman King
Yu Yu Hakusho
Rurouni Kenshin
Dr. Slump
Enigma
Video Girl AI (aka Den'ei Shōjo)

Jump ultimate stars had one button combos. The one button combos aren't bad as long as the system in place allows for creativity kinda like the naruto clash of ninja games.

That said what was wrong with battle stadium don? People keep saying its bad but for what it was it worked, at least to me.

Most of that is popular stuff. If you want them to do obscure, hope they put in a bunch of series that got a premature ending without lasting even a year like Double Arts.

Best news today.
Is it possible for me to buy this game on the JP PSN using a US credit card, or do I need to resort getting JP PSN cards? I assume PSN is cheaper than importing it.

Well, I've tried using my Aussie credit card on my US account which fails so no. Importing might be cheaper?? PSN isn't known to be cheaper than retail and games in Japan are ridiculously expensive.

It probably will be more akin to Zenkai/Gundam Vs., considering that the game uses the same genre definition that those games use (re: "Team Battle Action").

Anyway, one button combos don't have to be a bad thing. Technically, Gundam Extreme Vs. has "one button combos", but I can guarantee you that it's still one of the most complex combat engines you'd find in a game like this. And Zenkai's right up there with it.

From this and a few other games I've seen, it looks like peoples' hope that Japanese developers would start using the PS3/Vita combo to start making more HD games is coming to fruition. Hope more of these games are cross-buy.

Yeah, I doubt Namco Bandai of all companies would do Cross Buy. Cross Play, and Cross Save need to be implemented though.

As much as I'd love to play as several One Piece characters in this, I think it'd be more interesting if they limited it to one character per series. It'd allow for a lot more representation (I mean, otherwise, you can already pencil in Vegeta, Sasuke, Zoro, and a few others as essentially confirmed, and I doubt this game will have a roster as big as JUS). I'd also like to see them avoid just putting in the main character from each, you can only do Shonen Hero (who uses a sword or kung-fu) so many times. Himeko (Sket Dance) or Tokiko (Buso Renkin) would be more interesting than their male counterparts, for instance.

I also want to see them get creative. Put Ryuk (Death Note) or Crow (Bakuman) in there (actually, I'd rather see Otter 11 from Bakuman).

Yeah, I have biases to some series where I'd like multiple characters (who wouldn't want to play as Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Chopper, Usopp, Brooke, Robin, Franky, Croco...you get it). But the best solution is one (or two at most) character(s) per franchise.

Also, Himeko is da best. They need to throw in a little tsukkomi in there where she's commenting mid-fight, would be funny.

Why would you want the worst character from that manga?

The same reason people want the worst characters of the bleach, naruto and one piece. They are the main characters and they are still popular characters even if they aren't number 1 in the polls. She's also still the best character for fighting potential and her design is nice, designs are pretty much the only reason to like most of these jump characters outside of their movesets.

Personally I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. It's no Jump Super/Ultra Stars and it has a lot less characters, but it was enjoyable in its own way.

I figured it wasn't as good as jump but I wanted at least one of the people who disliked it to tell me why its disliked.

Hate linking to Saiyan Island because they love slapping their watermark on media, but they seem to be the only site right now with the first in-game models:

Looks great, there's tons of characters I'd love to see in this style.
I want to import this.
Not a matter of want to me, its i'm going to import weather the game ends up good or not so long as they have who I want. Even then if the gameplay holds up I don't care who they add, there's always someone that I like.

Toriko looks cool here, never read the manga because I don't like the art, but damn they look cool here. maybe because I can't see the face
