The girl choices are really amazing for the most part in my opinion. Usually the female choices are laughable but Brenda, Corrine, Dawn are each dangerous in their own ways. Francesca is a wild card... don't even remember her.

LOL at some of the other ones on the list too. Most are not very memorable for me. I guess Survivor is running out of people who want to come back and play the game. It's tough to be cynical when it keeps producing deserving winners.
Survivor has a track record in that department that would prove highly difficult for any other reality TV series to match.

Those who were fooled into thinking or hoping Malcolm would win: rule number one of reality TV - the over the top likeable competitor won't win. Denise was more complex, had confrontations, struggled more.

Don't get fooled next season peeps!

Great season that got better and better until we took it for granted; slightly disappointing final stretch and redeemed as usual.

Sandra, Sophie, Kim and Denise showing up their male predecessors and competitors.

Look forward to the next All Stars in 2015.

Taking Denise, you mean? I don't know if they talked about this on the reunion (I went to bed right after the winner reveal), but I can't imagine Skupin & Lisa would've had a significantly better chance against Malcolm.

Overall, this was a pretty great season. Good casting, good editing, some nice twists, and a winner I don't hate. Next season is going to have its work cut out for it, in terms of being as all-around great as this one was...and judging from that cast list, I have my doubts, since I can barely remember half of them. Disappointed there's no return of

He kept it for insurance up until the F5 tribal council when Abi got sent packing.
It was ineligible to be used after that. And he didn't need it at that council as he won immunity himself and refused to give it to Denise.

I stupidly would like to see a twist where he gets to bank his unplayed hidden immunity idol and bring it with him to Survivor Caramoan. But that would ultimately be rather silly.

I thought the start was weak but post merge this was a good season. It was a pretty likable final four without being too boring. The best part was seeing Malcolm lose and get voted out(having said that he would be a great pick for an all-stars season). I don't totally believe that informal poll of who would have voted for Malcolm if he was in the final. I wasn't really cheering for Denise but she played a good game and I can live with her winning although her arrogant speech put me off a bit.

I was hoping Carter for FF but didn't expect it. I'm glad it wasn't Malcolm. I think if they had Player Favorite Carter could have won that.

I actually thought Lisa was gonna win. I thought Tandang would go loyal but all but RC went bitter. I was especially surprised Abi went Denise when Lisa was so nice to her. All the others voted as expected.

Even though I agree with what people are saying about RC as a person in real life I don't get why her tribe didn't like her. I thought she played a pretty disciplined game and did the right thing most of the time but she just couldn't seem to get a break.

I also don't buy this Abi bad edit thing. Sure you can take things out of context to a point but it doesn't explain why so many people couldn't stand her. Even people like Skupin and Denise that seemed pretty easy to get along with strongly disliked her.

The fantasy re-votes Jeff does at the reunion show mean next to nothing since at that point everyone has seen the season on TV and been out of the game for months. The whole point of the game is the jury voting then and there, and with the information they've got from the players from playing.

It's completely relevant in a game where the final outcome is heavily based on how people think of you and trust you. List knew that revealing her history would put a larger target on herself throughout the game (just like Jeff Kent) and thus hid information that people would likely consider important.

Damn, good ending to a great season. A little bummed Malcolm didn't win, but he screwed himself honestly. Denise is a great winner. For a second during the final jury I was a little worried Lisa would get with some of the questions. Glad I was wrong though.

That jury was a lot more bitter than I thought they would be. It is something about survivor that makes these people so damn bitter. Sure, seeing every tribal right in front of you and seeing people go farther who don't deserve to would piss you off but still, survivor jurors some how take it to a whole different level.

I just hated how she made out like she was some massively strategic player when all the moves she tried to make failed miserably. She wasn't in control of the game anymore than I was viewing at home and it was plainly clear. If she was a threat to anyone she would've been voted out long ago.

Yeah, basically this. I couldn't stand Lisa. I'm really happy Denise won. Very deserving winner and a great underdog story, especially since she's an older woman. That's three female winners in a row, I don't think that's happened before.
