The album “Ten” by Girls Aloud it’s their second greatest hit album which is celebrating their 10th anniversary on the music industry. We have 14 singles from all their albums and including 4 new tracks to boot. Some of you might be wondering who they are and some might recognized them by our PopGaffer godelsmetric hyping up a lot the group. The album it’s full of dance tracks with some ballads. Lets see if the British and Irish Pop Group can keep up with the hype godel created around them or now now.

SOMETHING NEW: The song starts with empowering and very catchy lyrics shouting in a way of empowerment for the ladies to actually show men how they are going to get things done. During the whole song they will show you how they take control by slaying with this song with the great lyrics and beat. It has wonderful hooks and rhythm that just makes you want to stand up and move your body to the whole song. It’s flawless and it definitely deserves to be heard by everyone. 5.0/5.0

THE PROMISE: Here we see some 60s sound mixed with their sound. We can see the promise on this track by the smooth lyrics that goes great with that sort of Tropical Pop vibes. Their voices together truly sound like something of the 60s era with the modern production quality and unique touches make it fun. 4.5/5.0

THE LOVING KIND: We have reached a Synth Pop Ballad. It’s a really pretty song with nice harmonies coming from the music and the girls. They are sync to perfection and give you an emotive bridge to boot. It has a bit of repetitiveness to it but its mostly forgotten by how good everything sounds together. 4.0/5.0

UNTOUCHABLE: Rave/90s vibes all over the song. Its musicalization you get lost in trance with that quality it has. You can’t deny the quality found here. The girls have their effects on this beat which helps them fit the song better with some instrumental pauses which gives you some spots to rest a bit from the awesome track. 4.5/5.0

SEXY! NO NO NO…: This song has rock, euro pop and some samba into the mix. All works cohesively. The beat it’s sexy and just as most of the tracks before it it has provided that thing that makes you want to dance to it. Like all the songs it also sports catchy lyrics and hooks. Nothing to complain about so far with the song and the album. 4.5/5.0

CALL THE SHOTS: It’s a softer dance song. You might be dancing slower but you will enjoy it as much as the other tracks. They know how to get people to make songs that get you addicted to them. You will like to call the shots to keep bopping to this. 4.5/5.0

CAN’T SPEAK FRENCH: I’m not too fond of the lyrics of this one but the beat its good. Here we have found one that isn’t strong as the other hits I’ve heard. It’s by no means bad its still something you can see yourself bopping to but it could have been better than what we have here. 3.5/5.0

SOMETHING KINDA OOOOH: This song gives me life. The beat, the way they sing the lyrics its one of my favorite tracks on the album. The way they switch up, the bridge, the chorus, the hooks simply make me go crazy for it. Certainly a bop and certainly ones of my favorite songs on the album. The album so far has been keeping it pretty damn good. 5.0/5.0

BIOLOGY: This one has some old school rock, country and pop. The song keeps things well into the things that have been discussed over and over. They got the hooks, the beat and the chorus to make things stay with you. Definitely positive reception from my part. I like the way the song flows and how much diversity of sounds they got in here . 4.0/5.0

THE SHOW: This song gives me Spice Girls vibes. It has that 90s pop sound but as per giving you the sensibilities of 2000’s music. The way they roll the words its mostly what reminds me spice girls and how simple the beat it’s on this one. On this case the simplicity of the song works in their favor instead of making them seem basic. 4.0/5.0

LOVE MACHINE: Early 2000’s Rock Pop. You can tell the how simple things are for the lyrics and the beat with the early 2000’s rock with pop elements thrown at it. It’s not bad but there are way better tracks that make it show its cracks. 3.5/5.0

I’LL STAND BY YOU: This one it’s a cover of the band The Pretenders. It’s a pretty song with a beautiful message of support. The power ballad still has the things to love it and the girls make justice to the wonderful song. 4.5/5.0

JUMP: They keep giving me these good songs. This gives me the vibes of music of 90s gay pubs/disco. It has that instrumentalization and way of singing that simply works and gives it life. Sounding like old music isn’t always a bad thing and this is the proof needed to show you that you can use old school things and make them new. 5.0/5.0

NO GOOD ADVICE: I think by now I sound like a broken record saying how great this album is right? Then keep reading me saying basically all over again. This gives me some Blondie and The Bangles teas. The wonderful way of mixing up different rhythms and the way things are sung work it. Keep bringing it girls. 4.5/5.0

SOUND OF THE UNDERGROUND: Yep still keeping it catchy for us. It gives me some Vitamin C vibes at the beginning. Some rock vibes and the whole composition it’s a throwback to older music. Tons of things that reminds you other times of music fused with new things. Again said in a positive way and not a way where it’s just a clone. It makes things great since its mixing great things together in a way that gives it a new life. Another favorite right here. 5.0/5.0

ON THE METRO: The girls keep giving me life with every song. Another favorite here. The whole arrangement its flaw free and makes you move your body everywhere. These times I wished I was on a PopGAF Party dancing with all of you bopping to these bops. These girls can keep doing these songs that give me life all they want. They definitely have me slayed with all this album full of win. 5.0/5.0

BEAUTIFUL CAUSE YOU LOVE ME: This one it’s a ballad. Its certainly not a bad one but compared to the other things you can find on this album its probably the weakest. It’s a likeable song but the way the album its structured it’s doesnt fit well. 3.5/5.0

EVERY NOW AND THEN: And we are back to giving me life once more for the closing of the album. It’s a bit slower than others but it stays a slaying bop. This one has some Madonna vibes in one a few areas and a few more artist I can’t name right now since the names are escaping. It’s a great way to finish this amazing album. 5.0/5.0

DELUXE EDITION TALK: Since this is already a long review I'll resume it pretty simply saying that the Deluxe content its more life giving bops. Definitely recommend getting Deluxe.

Godelsmetric was actually right. Full of life giving tracks that you should be listening to, the quality this pop group has its very high and I doubt there will be another Girl Pop Group outshining them any time soon. I can't believe I didn't heard about them before but thanks Godelsmetric for giving me this ear opening music. So much life giving music in 1 album shouldn't be Legal.
