i think the ending will be "questionnable" but not bad in a strict sense .
And they can still do a anime - only ending to fix things up

Just finished it and that was a fuckin mess. Holy shit that escalated fast.
Pros:
Monsters of the week type episodes were exremely fun
Liked the character design. It was kinda soft and rounded
Had lots of action
Fun cast of characters. They've got a mechanic that fights with a giant wrench. Come the fuck on
Kozue is like the best glasses girl ever
Cons:
Barely any context for the villain's appearance or powers
Ending didn't resolve shit
They built the show up way too fast for it's own good.
Filler was good, but it had no purpose being in a show that is so short and blew it's load so fast

This show reminds me of the episode in Hyouka where Chitanda gets sidetracked by every single stall in the school festival. It's like the people making it had ADD. Fun show during a small vacation or break, but weak as hell if you are looking for any kind of coherence. The most questionable thing about the show (

Nichijou is the best though. If I didn't have a Lei Lei avtar it would be a Nichijou related one instead. That or a Joshiraku avatar.

Maybe. I have enough another shows on my plate that I am in no rush. I can always stand to wait a couple more weeks and see if things fall of a cliff again.

Everyone from Cat and upwards is great. Kanbaru serves a certain comedic role that just can't be replaced, though. She is Bee without all the super questionable stuff. I love the Snail and I can't blame the character when they make Araragi do some dangerous(you all know what I mean by dangerous!) stuff to her.

So this is the last episode before Flights of Fancy. Didn't really have a "finale" feel to it, but I guess that's okay since I probably like this better anyway. Plus, the major conflict had already been resolved.

I was going to wish that Skuld would stay as an adult, but her developing feelings toward Keiichi actually made me kinda glad she didin't. No way I would have enjoyed that dynamic long-term, but it was kinda fun for one episode. She looked pretty fine in that dress.
We also saw the return of the rapey dude. Urd was so awesome here. Blowing him up after calling him a glutton for punishment. Also, Urd's little prank at the end was hilarious. I suppose she wanted to see if the old Skuld was really back, but I like to think it was a cruel practical joke on Keiichi. You'd think that Skuld would learn from having feelings for Keiichi as an adult that he's a good guy and if anyone's going to have a relationship with her big sis, it may as well be him, but I guess not. Though seeing him laying on the floor with her would be kinda jarring if I were her, I suppose.
I can't imagine cajunator's reaction to tiny Belldandy. He was probably flopping around on the floor like a fish.

There's no Zodd, he doesn't throw his sword to Guts, Guts' sword doesn't break, he just beats the general and that's it, it sucks, it's boring, it's stupid, it lacks that impact of the original scene, that small touch of fantasy that made that battle special, it ruined the entire motherfucking film for me and now I don't even feel like finishing it. I don't get it, why would you do that, it doesn't make sense. Fuck this shit.
And I usually hate these types of rants, it just pissed me off so much.

Dub had my favorite VA in Kaoru's role, dub alright.
Dub isn't terrible. You should probably just break the disc in half and do yourself a favor though.
It's basically Aikatsu stripped of all of its whimsy. Anti-hype dropping.

Pretty good, actually really awesome at times wish the series had been in BD as its really gorgeous looking for all the fast paced fafner festum battles. And really emotionally intense too with the plot, poor Kazuki and even Kurusu.
10 like the tv anime.
I hope theres another movie as one huge plot point is still unresolved or possibly two.

Everything seemed so goo and well at first then it just goes all the way down with characters being closed to death, utter sickness, Neo UN messing things up and uncertainty with Soushi. Wished the islanders had sided with Kurusu and Mir, was it, for coexistence and peace but I guess it had to be done this way. I wished we could have had Kurusu stay as well as Soushi but I missed him and Kazuki antics, such good friends. Best moment

SAO was a big topic of conversation for the Fall season.
Reading the picture/gif spam at the end of the last thread was kind of entertaining this time with the different awards and mock awards. More so than just random images for me. Seeing something like that done at the end of every season could be interesting too. I'm surprised Zetsuen no Tempest didn't win an award for something like "anime where characters stand around in the same spot for most consecutive episodes" or something. No best dead eyes moe is a shame too.
Speaking of Tempest, it really is too bad the direction it went in the latter half of the first part. I'm really just watching it now just to see how silly it gets. If it does actually improve to how it was in the first few episodes that would be a nice surprise but it sounds like I shouldn't count on it.

I knew different ones were mentioning Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun or My Little Monster wasn't going to have a conclusive ending but watching the final episode of the main show I didn't expect it to have as much of a non-ending as it seemed to. I think it was duckroll and possibly some others mentioned the episode felt more like an extra OVA episode or something and I'd agree as that's what it felt like to me. I liked the show overall but the pacing on the relationship was really weird. It felt like a race car blasting off the starting line going zero to sixty and the slamming on the breaks and throwing it into reverse or stalling out or something. Apparently slow moving or stalled relationships is pretty typical for shoujo romances though. I don't really know as I've personally never really seen very many.

Also, regarding episode 13 of Shinsekai Yori, I personally liked Maria's "Bunny Hopping". I really thought it was a bit of a nice contrast so not everyone was moving around on skis and it kind of went with her ability to
. I personally never really found it all that amusing as some seemed to. I really only thought it looked kind of funny on some of the distance shots because of the animation loop look to it. I didn't see it mentioned but I kind of thought Saki and Satoru's movements looked a little strange as well. They could just use their powers to glide along and at times weren't really moving their arms or body due to that, even when going up hill.
Something like this first shot I thought had nice animation for both characters to it:

Well it certainly was but the real growth in the thread is from 2009 - 2010, everything after that has been steady growth. The jump from 2009 to 2010 was the insane one.
I was sticking with Zetsuen because I thought it was supposed to get better, but now you're telling me it gets worse!? =(It looks like the Zetsuen anime is going to continue following the manga pretty faithfully, so I think people who have already bailed out might want to... keep it that way.

Thanks! It's completely unlike anything I've ever watched, but I fell in unmitigated love with it during the first season. Even imported the two Kodansha bilingual volumes of the manga (makes me sad that they don't seem to be doing any more).
