How so? Can't one or more of these be passage from the new region to Unova. A HG/SS post game for Gen VI leading to the Gen v region with some new tweaks in it's construction to explore.

Nope, can only send them via trading. With that said it's easy to do even if you only have one DS/3DS.
Wouldn't that rather make the game really easy if you can switch on the get-go? Maybe instead of just changing like that, have an item to trade with it? Essentially a move relearner but portable and requires an item (i.e. heart scale)?
I somehow doubt GF will ever do that again. Gen 6 would be way too soon, and any later than that is undermining potential remake money.

For the record, it was meant more as a comment on my own (lack of) physical strength. I'm not exactly the fittest person around. I suppose my penchant for making self-deprecating statements isn't that well known?
Getting back to the topic at hand...while there are certainly sequel hooks in past games, I really can't see a sequel happening as the first mainline game on a new console, for pretty much the same reason I don't think remakes are likely. It'd be difficult to introduce a sufficient variety of new Pokémon species doing it, and you can't really have a new generation without lots of new species.
I absolutely hate this, had to trade filler pokemon just to move things from White 1 to White 2 -_-
Why on earth could the Poke Transfer lab not be used for this, without that infernal minigame within it as well. I should not have to jump through so many damm hoops just to move pokemon between games.

Not likely that people know since you've been around here less than a week and I still don't see the relevance of bringing Joe into it, to be quite honest.
They could do a Pokemon Box-like free app for the 3DS, I suppose. Better than a retail game, haha.

Well, $2 then. That's about worth it.
I definitely felt like there was a lot left open after B/W 2.
Ghetsis gets away again, the fabled original dragon and Genesect's original form still don't show up, the original protags are implied to still be looking for N, the large area in the northwest side of the map that's unused, those construction projects, just all sorts of thing that they didn't rap up or do anything with.
Not saying that we'll be getting B/W 3 or anything, but there was so much left open at the end of 2. Maybe we'll see some of it in gen VI.

February 10th 2010, according to bulbapedia.
February I think. But some time later there was a worldwide stealth announcement of Zekrom, Reshiram.
My issue is why can't we have both and why can't Poke transfer just be that a transfer rather than a pointless minigame that has no use whatsoever.
Self trade itself is also unnecessarily clunky, we shouldn't have to send another one of our pokemon over just to get our own pokemon into another game.

Searching on the archives it seems that the starters were announced in Japan on May.
Before that, the only news we had except Zorua, Zoroark was about the games. Screenshots and the names on April.
So May was the month that we got many new infos. The games were released Fall 2010 in Japan thought. B2W2 seems to have broken this trend of new games on fall.
So, if this announcement is about a new generation, I expect to see the version mascots(I bet that they're three as I said before), the games' logos and some important Pokemon. Like something that could appear on Genesect's movie. After that we probably won't have news about the games for a month or two if the games are coming this Fall in Japan. Oh, and I strongly believe that the gap between Japan-West release will be smaller. Perhaps only a month or two.

Just a minor correction. Riolu were catchable in BW1 via challengers cave too.
And Masuda getting in on this? Damn it I want to keep my low expectations.
Actually, Masuda hyping it as well mostly removes the possibility of it being related to the card game...

I wouldn't be too surprised if that happened. Ghetsis is still running around of course, but there's some other loose threads that they've left dangling. Cynthia and Arceus keep popping up as one, Looker and the international police are still investigating something, we've got no idea what Cyrus is doing in the distortion world now, Giovanni's still roaming the world waiting to strike back.
