No I'm not. Halo is for 16. I'm 16.

Just let that settle in for a second.

Pokemon was on when I was a kid. I just didn't like it.

I'm just giving you shit. I thought Pokemon was dumb as fuck when it came out. But that's because all I thought it was was card trading and the cartoon. Once I played a game though...shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

If your knowledge of the Pokemon universe extends any farther than the ~15 named Pokemon from playing Super Smash Brothers you're doing it wrong.

I mean Ampharos isn't just a regular ass electric pkmn, he's got a shitload of elemental punches too. Bastard's got me through some tough times with his killer flaming left hook.

I'm old enough and I still don't think Pokemon is that great. Should have spent that time on more totally amazing Kid Icarus games instead.

I saw the original Star Wars at a drive in theater in 1977. Think about THAT.

What's a drive-in theater? j/k.

Shout outs to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Gone in 60 Seconds as my first and last films-at-drive-ins :(

What year did the first Pokemon come out again? '97? I think they're good, but I wouldn't call myself a fan. I was rockin Donkey Kong 64 and other platformers at that time.

Holy fuck these new pokemon look awful. They seem to get worse every gen.

Wtf? That bird looks like what would happen if a brother and sister pidgey reproduced. Then got stepped on.

Everything past Crystal was fucking dirt.

US release was '98. I think it was the first game I'd gotten since some Batman game for the Genesis.

I like that the repeated Spartan Ops in matchmaking are now on Legendary difficulty.

I think it scales depending on how many people you have. It's normal for 2, Heroic for 3 and Legendary if you have the full 4.

I'd really like to see limited lives added to Spartan Ops, maybe as a setting like choosing difficulty as opposed to always on. If you had to manage how many times you died it would play very differently. As it stands I'll let myself get killed just so I can get more ammo and grenades..

A blob with a face looks better than that mutated Y animal creature.

Ditto was great, his design already gave a hint of is main power.

He looks better than anything newer. Newer pokemon look like the devs take acid and doodle their ideas, then develop them when they come down.

ya pretty much. After we got more than 151 Pokemans that franchise was dead to me.

Also I will always love the way you can catch Mew in R/B. It's near OoT levels of obscure game breaking http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~jdonald/pokemon/mewglitch.html

Holy shit. I remember falling for the bullshit strength to move the truck by the SS anne as a kid. Even now i dont understand why that truck is there.

And yeah, playing handhelds just doesnt happen once you 12-14. Or your japanese, they cant get enough of handheld gaming.

Spartan Ops or Firefight and why?
Firefight easily. While ODST had the superior version I still spent a lot of time playing Score Attack in the early days of Reach

also, I am 21 and still play my DS when I am at home. I don't ever take it anywhere because I don't go anywhere that I have time to play it but I do play it at home. I've been playing a lot of Pokemon Black the past few days.

Want me to fill in the gaps for you? Here goes: "SWAT is sticking around for another week because we're still pretending it's temporary, and we've added another Slayer playlist! No, King of the Hill isn't back! Extraction? Never heard of him."

:(

So many modes they can add in - hell I would be content with them improving and re-releasing modes we have already seen like snipes.

In comparison halo 3 had some great double exp weekend playlists. There's a lot of variety they can tap into for weekly playlists so it's bizarre to see them drop the idea so quick

Sorry for talking about Halo, but does anyone know if there's a Halo Reach playlist details page anywhere on the Waypoint website like this one for Halo 4? There used to be a comprehensive overview of all active maps & gametypes in all active playlists on b.net, but I can't for the life of me find a similar thing on Waypoint.

It might be that I've just missed it, due to the insanely counter-intuitive navigation system on Waypoint, but I've searched high and low and am still unable to find it. I'm aware that Cobb & Der Flatulator posted some overview threads in the Reach forum on Waypoint, with links to the archived changelogs from the old Optimatch forums on b.net, but they're not anywhere near as insightful / user-friendly as the aforementioned playlist overview page.

P.S. Yes. I still play Reach. Halo 4 looks horrible so I'm not going to even consider buying it until I hear news of at least a TU and a playlist overhaul.

EDIT: Found it. It was hidden within the games section of the footer menu. Sorry for bothering everyone. :/

Arguing that there were some designs in Gen 1 that were bad doesn't make that Y thing look any better. It's still a horrible design. Can we have something like Lugia again please?

Pok%C3%A9mon_Lugia_art.png

Lugia is a trill ass Pokemon. My favorite legendary.

Yeah okay, but if it was tweaked to work the same distance vertically as it does horizontally that wouldnt have been an issue. I always that that was the only, albeit minor problem with radar
That's a pretty decent idea.

My main complaints with radar is that it allows you to know too much about people's positions without having to communicate, and helps eliminate sneaky plays. You can't really flank an enemy and backsmack him when there's radar because he'll see you coming. You can't run into a base using an unorthodox route for the same reason. Without radar, that kind of stuff can still be protected against but it requires the team to communicate. With radar, if you see someone's around a corner on your radar, you know that they can see you around the corner, and you both kind of just sit there and hope you can lob a grenade at the other. It's just not as much fun. My opinion is that radar makes the game too easy and adversely affects encounters

What kind of game is Persona 4 Golden? I've been playing Virtue's Last Reward on Vita lately and loving it, might order Persona next.
