This one should be about a apocalyptic world where scientific dinosaurs resurrect humans and put them in a park, only for them to escape.

Everything is coming from Jeff. He was the guy with the scoop. If you notice nothing is new about that article except the date. The quote is from last fall.

"Why do another one?'' If you can't answer that question, you shouldn't be doing it. It's tough. We're trying to come up with a story that makes sense and isn't going to disappoint people and is, hopefully, going to get people excited and reinvigorate the franchise.

I love how NOBODY on the internet is asking a) Who's writing it and b) if there's even a script. It's all "Who's directing!?!"

The director needs something to work with, first. The question we should all be asking is "What the hell is the story, and who wrote it?"

Because of nostalgia, many people are probably just interested in entering that universe again and trust the powers that be to make sure it's not an absolute turd of a film. Of course, they've failed us before.

There's something psychological about film announcements and trailers. Something as scarce as a title or a 30 second reveal trailer can get us extremely excited about something we know very little about.

That is an important question too, but a good director might make a shitty script into an interesting movie.
