Details on the project are currently few, but Jurassic Park IV will be produced by Spielberg with a director yet-to-be-named. It is also being planned for a 3D release.
Mine is was first and from the guy that broke the news on twitter!
This thread has a link to a real article instead of a twitter post, it wins.
Also this better be one of the crazy JP4 scripts that have been rolling around with military trained commando dinosaurs and not another boring retread like 3.
"Why do another one?'' If you can't answer that question, you shouldn't be doing it. It's tough. We're trying to come up with a story that makes sense and isn't going to disappoint people and is, hopefully, going to get people excited and reinvigorate the franchise.
why did your username had this peculiar change?
who's writing it is there even a script
Looks like Spielberg said the magic word.
This one should be about a apocalyptic world where scientific dinosaurs resurrect humans and put them in a park, only for them to escape.
I love how NOBODY on the internet is asking a) Who's writing it and b) if there's even a script. It's all "Who's directing!?!"
The director needs something to work with, first. The question we should all be asking is "What the hell is the story, and who wrote it?"
JP2 at least has some very cool moments, and some fun performers.
JP3 has Sam Neill and that's about it.

These are lies you and Scott are asking that on twitter.
Because of nostalgia, many people are probably just interested in entering that universe again and trust the powers that be to make sure it's not an absolute turd of a film. Of course, they've failed us before.
