Is this the sacrifice Platinum has to make for solid 60fps on current consoles?
Is the theme of the game going to be Raiden's disrespect for androids and misunderstanding of android/synthetic/AI right of life is contrast by his own inhumanity and blood lust and not-so-slow transformation into more robot than man and in the end he will come to learn that violence comes from man because man created robots and it is man who was the villain all along and this revelation came from within his own transformations also nanomachines?
I don't see any presentation shortcomings. All I see is Platinum being Platinum.Yes, but it's also on a tight development schedule, as Platinum had to bail KojiPro out of their colossal failure, and that too is likely contributing to the presentation shortcomings.
This is probably a dumb question, but is it very important that I play MGS4 (or at least know the story) before playing this?
another gameplay trailer...
Hey, you know who's a terrible voice actor?
Quinton Flynn.
Listening to him try to sound badass is embarrassing by proxy.
I personally do not want to see a CG trailer 1 month before the game's release, sorry.another gameplay trailer...
Yeah, definitely. Something like the Cyborg Ninja's voice would have been coolYeah it sounds really dumb. They should have just had him use his regular, MGS2 Raiden voice, and stuck a robot-y filter over it or something.

Maybe he'll come as DLC to PSASBRlol... comically evil Raiden?
Haha, I'm playing it eventually no matter what. I'm just going to end up playing Rising first....its important that you dont play MGS4.
Sounds good to me!Not really. People that have played the series will have a better idea of what's going on, but I get the feeling that this is kind of meant to be a game that can stand on its own.
Maybe he was suffering road rage. He was in a car afterall.
Wait, that's Raiden talking at the beginning?
What the fuck.
And people say Samus's characterization was bad in Other M.
All over my face
Probably is his Jack the Ripper persona voice. That Dark Knight voice. Glad to see it isn't permanent though, but it still pops up from time to time.
Ah ok, I didn't know the history of this game.
We were talking strictly graphics, lighting effects, shaders, etc... which is flat out average (I would say bad) in this trailer.
If you're talking about gameplay or animations or combat, those are completely separate issues.
Probably is his Jack the Ripper persona voice.

Holy shit Raiden's voice in the opening monologue is like pure Kojima spite for all the people who used to say he sounded like a whiny bitch. I didn't play MGS4 so maybe it was like this for that game too, but jesus christ, I don't think I've ever heard something so hilariously and unintentionally awful in the realm of videogame voice acting.
Now you're just being nasty.
im getting off from the cutting guys to shreds footage."im getting off on cutting guys to shreds"
