Read the task list, this isn't "enjoy playing our beta," it's "please give us free QA."
As a real beta should be.

Every beta I've been in, asked for participant feedback in forums and posting any bugs/issues that are run into.
Yeah, posting about a bug in a forum is one thing, but did you read the task list that you've agreed to abide by?

I'd read the T&Cs, too, you have to sign an NDA :lol
To be fair that all seems pretty much exactly like the last Netgear hardware beta I was part of. Difference being it's worth doing all that stuff for a free $150 router, it's not really worth it for a $15 game.
Reason for posting is that achievements for Virtual On and Virtua Striker have been updated, and they're both in Japanese. I've never seen this before for an XBLA, I hope it doesn't mean they're Japan only. Not that it really matters now, I guess, Microsoft might wonder why so many accounts migrate to Japan that day though...
Aww. It wasn't a good game, exactly, but it was kind of likeable in its way.Looks like Yar's Revenge has been pulled.
Was this recent?

It may update later, there were sone japanese developed games that had their achievements initialy ib japanese.
Anyway you do not need to migrate accounts if te games are Japan only, you only need a 2nd japanese account
I'll update throughout the day.

Published by Atari. And Atari US just filed for Bankruptcy. Probably other Atari games will follow it.
Which are the Atari published games on XBLA? I recall Star Raiders, Yars Revenge, Ghostbusters Sanctum of Slime, D&D Daggerdale, The Undergarden, Haunted House, Warlords and Blade Kitten.
Sega Rally Online is not released on disc, but the superior Revo is.
doubt online is still up though.
I heard that Online was basically a cut-down Revo
You never know. It's not like Activision is taking advantage of the IP. Geometry Wars 3 would be the perfect launch game for XBLA on the Durango. You know what's gonna suck? Not having another Geometry Wars at the beginning of the next console cycle.

GOTWBack on the joke side for the DOTW. Thanks MS.
About time it went on sale! I been waiting on this to go on sale since it came out.Space Invaders Extreme - 400msp (was 800)
Remember Doodle Jump Kinect?
No =/
That's because it never came out.
Announced March 2011. Shown off March 2012. Released... March 2013?
I didn't even know it had been announced!
I'd probably buy it as well (on sale)
It didn't look very exciting, to be honest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkOdYEE19UQ
It's still on Smoking Gun's site so maybe they didn't forget. http://www.smokingguninc.com/products/in-development/

Except Online Arcade is actually fun. Don't get me wrong, I got Revo when it came out. I played it quite a bit, went through a number of the championships and so on. But after playing Online Arcade a bunch, I can't go back and enjoy Revo. It feels (or perhaps reminds me) as though I'm fighting my car the whole race; constantly trying to keep going the direction I want. No, Online is basically Sega Rally 3, which is an arcade only developed at the same time/same team of Revo, but with different twists. SR3 is also 60fps, what Revo is not (not sure about Online).
Back on topic, what's this delisted games list all about? I wasn't even aware that half of those had gone away. The only one on that list that I noticed had a blank/missing cover image in my dashboard was UMK3. SROA, TMNT 1989 and Re-Shelled (to name a few) still display fine for me.
Ah, gotcha. Well damn, I was debating buying one of the Yu-Gi-Oh! games at some point too. Most of the time, basic pages can still appear, but the big thing will be that the game isn't available for purchase / it's DLC and other items will dissappear. Most of the issues of delisting come because the publishers no longer exist, or a license or rights for a game have been lost to the companies involved.
