My 13-year-old nephew changed his AIM icon to Kirito and messaged me that he's on his second watch-through of SAO "because it's cool!"
He also said he wants the Asuna and Kirito figures listed on the Crunchyroll store.
I imagine if he knew Japanese/lived in Japan, he'd probably be buying all the novels.

Maybe that's why it's not much appreciated here. The target audience is just not us.

I assume you slapped him over the head and told him to watch something good?

Magi airs in the Gundam/Code Geass timeslot of Sundays at 5:30 pm on TBS. Considering the channel involved and the timeslot, its probably the best anime timeslot there is. (One Piece, Toriko, Pretty Cure, Pokemon etc all air weekend mornings).

Legit primetime is 7-11pm everyday and no anime will ever air in that timeslot unless its, like, a movie. For reference, the last time My Neighbor Totoro was shown on TV, it aired on a Friday at 9 PM and got an incredible 18.3% rating.

Pokemon actually airs at 7pm Thursdays, IIRC.

You need to sort him out.

Harry wasn't a siscon with serious machoism issues, though.

I feel really bad about defending SAO, but they're cousins and he didn't even like her! Meanwhile Harry Potter is tottering about in a curiously white world filled with token POCs being every bit the entitled heroic jackass that Kirito is. He also goes for the girl who looks like his mom.

But how can someone like Kirito? Kagami, you need to get him to watch Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, the true essence of masculinity. Where the protagonists are real men who pose and announce their moves like men should and aren't a pathetic pile of shit.

Guy's totally into it. He teases her as much as he can.
I mean, what the fuck was that dancing scene in the last episode?

Psycho-Pass 13

The moment I saw Akane back on screen, I was happy, but the visual quality of the episode wasn't anything to write home about.
I was also happy about
her Criminal Coefficient stabilizing quickly, as at least that does make her remarkable.
The closing scene was a bit creepy.

From The New World and Psycho-Pass spoilers:
From what I understand about what's going on in Psycho-Pass (as I've stopped bothering to watch), I find it somewhat amusing how Saki and Akane are both remarkable in the sense that they can apparently have incredibly stable mental fortitude in a dystopic system that discourages 'unhealthy' subconscious thought patterns.

Don't make me watch shitty anime to get sure of what it is :/

I already said I'll watch School Days.
Please stop teasing me on bad anime

Sincerely, please stop m(-.-)m

SAO isn't even so bad its good. Its just Kirito making girls* wet with his videogame "skills"

and Klein from that guy's reactions every time he sees kiroto

if you want something that is in slightly the same vein but is at least entertaining in an inexplicable way, watch accel world

Strangely I could put up more with Kirito than fat midget (sorry, I can't remember the name). Fat midget was so whiny all the time I just got sick of it and dropped around the time he got tangled in that love triangle or whatnot.

Please don't tell me that people actually do this.
I do it and it's delicious.
They lost to Corinthians in the Club World Cup Finals, my team reserves won against them. THE RESERVES.
Oh man, I do not like reading about shit like Corinthians ITT, haha.
Yeah but no one actually cares about the Club World Cup. Chelsea sure didn't.
That's the nice excuse European teams always use when they get their asses handed to them.
Brazil, my bro, where the fuck where you when FootballGAF was all like "hurrdurr we gonna win this trophy with our bench because we are MOTHERFUCKING EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS hurrdurr the rest of the world doesn't compare to our lustre" and then they were all like "B-BUNCH OF WANKERS TORRES YOU FUCK"? Seriously, the levels of smug over there give me pulmonary emphysema.

P.S. Lol Argentina at sub20.

At least Haruyuki has a semblance of a personality, albeit an annoying one. It definitely is still an empowerment fantasy. I could just never stomach SAO because of how much Kirito and his contemporaries inflate their actions in a video game to something of paramount importance. In the end its all still inside a game, and kirito is just a kid laying on his bed for hours on end with a helmet on his head. The struggles in Accel World at least have real world implications. Plus Accel Worlds characters are much better, still static stereotypes that never do the unexpected, but inarguably much more entertaining ones than are in SAO

The only cool thing Kirito managed to do was spend two years worth of jizz all at once WHILE he was in a coma.

That probably takes quite the effort.

That was probably the moment where Kirito's cousin caught the love bug.

She visited frequently after that.

With SAO it basically writes itself. You'd also have the Fairy King consummating his soon-to-be marriage with Asuna at the same time.

Gone are the days when we won every damn thing in sub20. Our sub20 is now as unremarkable as the major division :(

Vivid Red Operation 2

The shocking truth.

So, what we have here are lesbian magicalSCIENCE girls that perform gattai at a biological level, fighting CG mecha-aliens and wearing few clothes, while the mascot character cheers from the sidelines. There's also an "evil" heroine that will inevitably become the focus of the show as it progresses and her tearjerker backstory is revealed, because in reality things aren't quite as they seem. And all of that played completely straight!

It's pretty fun so far, and the animation has been great (dem Megumi Kouno henshin sequences are the best).
The fact that they become a badass mix when they do the docking is also interesting, now I want to see how the other dockings turn out.

Is this show scheduled for a single cour, or will it be two cours?

Imagine the followup we could have had if she used it for artificial insemination and had to explain to him he was going to be a father after he woke up.

And the tears she'd have when he explained it'd be his second child.

I think we have a doujin on our hands here gentlemen. We have the technology. We can make it happen.

I wonder, if someone were to jack off in SAO, would they mess themselves in the real world?

Also another SAO idea: Sugu is cleaning Kirito's excrement in the hospital once again when she noticed he's "stiffened." Antics ensue.
