Hunter X Hunter Zoldycks Arc
Not really much of an arc, more set up for the families role in a later story line. Glad we have Killua back so quickly now we just gotta clear his name and make him a hunter.

There's nothing to really clear, even if he was fully sane when he did what he did, they'd let him take the hunter exam again like any other person (see Hisoka). Not to mention the examiners know just as well as Illumi what really happened there.

I personally believe he only looks at manga and anime through tumblr.
He posts way too much yaoi stuff for that, including chapter summarizations.
Whenever I think DTL is obviously trolling, he posts something that makes his opinions seem even more believable. It's irritating.

Duckroll with the literacy-no-jutsu. Nah, but seriously I want to go back in time and lose memory of both Skypiea through Water7/Enies Lobby's conclusion and read it all again every time someone posts about it.
I'm itching for a One Piece arc that gets that nuts again with all the intrigue, action and reveals piecing themselves together and leading to a similar outcome. That's pretty much the biggest reason why even for as slow (not bad) as things have been, I'm still holding on to hope.

Hoping they don't sell out of the XL ones I want by pay day, though there is quite a few I want.
I don't own any manga or anime clothing.. was going to buy an Eyeshield 21 hoodie at a convention I went to last weekend but i hadn't brought any money

Usually fanart is a leading reason to start a new series (HxH/JJBA/Haruhi Suzumiya) , usually disappointed when its non existent (like Nisekoi/Cowboy Bebop :/ )

I dont see how its any different than reading a manga based on cover art, or watching an anime based on a gif, or I guess people starting a manga because of a gif?

Too many of the same jokes over and over and little else to go off of. Plus he joined the crew in my least favorite arc.
He was the best thing about that arc! And that one joke is hilarious!
Like seriously, I laugh every time.
HUGE difference, fanart isn't made by the actual creator and is open to manipulation into making it whatever the fan wanted it to be (in your case BL that doesn't exist).
Gifs and cover art is from the actual source material, I guess an apt comparison would be canon vs filler in anime.

For DTL the quality of anything is directly correlated to how much the characters look like generic shonen pretty boys, you should know this.

Natsu no Zenjitsu 1-13
From the same dude who did Koi Kaze apparently (never did read that series though). I'm quite liking this story so far. The relationship between Tetsuo and Akira feels very grounded and their chemistry between each other is pretty entertaining to read. I think one reason why this manga resonates so much with me is that I see shades of myself in the main character (albeit a more idealized version of myself). Just his personality and little quirks like his stubbornness, his frustration with his artwork, the way he guards himself from others, etc. I feel like I can sympathize with his character quite a bit since the whole angst-ridden artist motif is something that I can personally relate to in a way. The whole thing with Hanami has potential to screw things up but the more I read the more I feel like she's less of a potential love interest and more of just inspiration for his artwork.
At least I hope so because I really like Akira. :/
