Just finished watching all episodes of the show and man I loved all of it, so good.

Do we know if the new season that will be launching on Netflix will be available outside the US on launch? I live in Denmark and subscribe to Netflix, so I would love to know.

So I saw this pop up on my facebook feed earlier

What the hell is this voodoo? I expected her to look older than sixteen at this point

Also the video is pretty lame. Great sentiment obviously, but kind of awkwardly handled

Anyway, hooray for season 4!

Awkward yeah, at least the right intent was there.

Man does she have hammers.

They better. Self-deprecating meta-humor is an Arrested Development staple.

"You're a regular Brad Garrett."
But that wasn't making fun of Tambor... that was making fun of Garrett and the Emmys. Making fun of Portia's actual face seems honestly cruel. But maybe she'd have a sense of humor about it.

Well it was making fun of his Emmy loss. But you're right, that probably wasn't a great example. The surfboard jokes are better (thanks timetokill!).

Even with the surfboard joke, I think it's different. I don't think small-breasted women are all that sensitive about it. But plastic surgery jokes seem pretty humiliating.

Anyway, we'll see. Seems like something they'd have to point out at some point.

Re-watching AD for what must be the 12th time:

Wife: I'm in love with your brother-in-law.
G.O.B: You're in love with your own brother? The one in the army?
Wife: No, your sister's husband.
G.O.B: Michael? Michael!
Wife: No, that's your sister's brother.
G.O.B: No, I'm my sister's brother. You're in love with me - me! :)
Wife: I'm in love with Tobias.
G.O.B: My brother-in-law?
Wife: I know it can never be so I'm leaving. I'm enlisting in the army.
G.O.B: To be with your brother?
Wife: No.

my favorite ending. i crack up when the song plays and sharply cuts. they did it in episode 1, but it works so much better here.

My only fear is that Michael Cera might not be able to get back in character.

But seriously, I don't understand the hate for the guy. Maybe because I've avoided most of his movies besides Superbad and Juno? Anyhow, he's perfect as George Michael.

IMO, they can easily replace Michael Cera with Jesse Eisenberg for his character.

It's because he plays Michael Cera in every role.

I know many people aren't as hot on Season 3, but I think it's still excellent for the most part. The conversations between Michael and Rita are brilliant.

Rita: You found out.
Michael: Took me long enough.
Rita: Maybe you're not smart either. I didn't know until they told me.
Michael: No I'm just a narcissist who's too self-involved to see the truth.
Rita: That makes no sense to me.
Michael: Yeah maybe you're right, maybe I'm being too hard on myself.

The number of double entendres from Rita during her arc is stunning.

Portia's plastic surgery looks hideous but it works with her character so I don't care too much.

I'll never understand why people what lips like that, though.

Do we know if Carl Weathers might be back? I think he's pretty much the only guest star that hasn't been confirmed.

Interesting!

Jason Bateman confirms 'Arrested Development' movie plans: Season 4 is the 'first third' of a greater story

A new season of "Arrested Development" is only months away from premiering, but don't think that plans to make a movie of the series have been shelved. Jason Bateman recently spoke to Larry King while promoting his new movie "Identity Thief" and says that an "Arrested Development" movie is integral to completing the upcoming Season 4 storyline.

"There's a big story that the showrunner wants to tell; this guy Mitch Hurwitz, this smart guy. And the story was too big to kind of ... every time he'd try to fit it all in one movie, it wouldn't work," Bateman explains. "So he decided to put sort of the first third of it in these episodes we have shot that are going be on Netflix in May, and Act 2 and Act 3 will be inside a movie that we will do later."

That's intriguing to say the least, but plans on that movie will likely have to wait until Season 4 is released before any studio decides to move forward on it. As for that new season, Bateman compared the upcoming 14 episodes to tracks on an album.

"All the episodes are released on the same day, like you would an album. You can listen to whatever song in whatever order, and in this case you can watch any episode in whatever order. Depending on the order in which you watch them, certain things will be revealed to you or not. It's pretty complicated," he explains.

Link.

yeah, they've said that a couple times a couple different ways...I'm just not sure if it's ordained to happen. Fingers crossed of course
