.This is absolutely the way to show how you feel about the delay. Sadly I think it says it all when the petition is still struggling to get 5000 people who care enough to fill it out. Someone should get these details up on Miiverse, and see how much traction it gets. Emailing/phoning all these people, and buying it on WiiU in good numbers is the only thing that'll get through to Ubi.

Well, feel free to copy and paste this wherever you go! Here's an updated one...
There is one way to amend this in my eyes, use the extra months to port Rayman Origins and pack it for free with Legends.
Venturebeat is now part of the movement:

I would kill to learn about Nintendo's reaction. I mean they have to be really pissed off, Wii U needed this game NOW
I couldn't get over it. I couldn't get past it. I couldn't figure out what the big deal was. I mean, I could understand the anger but not the degree of it. People are SO mad.
Tonight I talked to a friend and he made it really clear.
"Dude, I have a Wii U. The release calendar is TERRIBLE. This was THE next game for Wii U that any large number of Wii U gamers gave a shit about."
"If the lineup and calendar weren't so awful, nobody would give a shit.".
I understand now. This is very different from Rayman Legends, not just because the former was not exclusive, but because it was a blip on the radar for systems that had at least several other good games coming out that year. The Wii U lineup is such a piece of shit that this is a major loss.
Fuck Ubisoft. They have seriously damaged a platform that was already failing.
Ubisoft said:We’re happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We’ll have more details to share soon."
If Nintendo needs to take care of something its increasing their console value and rebuilding their strategy regarding the WiiU especially since its still early and there is a huge room for improvements, loosing temporary 3rd party exclusivety like Rayman is nothing but an increase in warning signs from 3rd parties especially for an already finished game as stupid as this might sound.I would kill to learn about Nintendo's reaction. I mean they have to be really pissed off, Wii U needed this game NOW
It's not just that the WiiU lineup is barren. If it wasn't already ready to go, then I doubt people would be pissed. It's the fact that WiiU games have quite often released AFTER the 360/PS3 versions (probably due to how long it takes to finish a port) yet when the lead platform is the WiiU version, we have to wait to release alongside the 360/PS3 versions? Bullshit.

I think we need a petition to get Lego City Undercover on PS3 and 360.I think we need a petition imploring third parties to dampen support for the forthcoming consoles if they fail to significantly outsell Wii U on release.
I understand your outrage Nintendo fans but do you really think Ubisoft will care about a petition signed by 5000 people? Hell make it 50 000 people. They will make up this kind of lost sales on PS360 and the larger userbase of Wii U owners in 7 months easily.
Get real, this won't change a thing. Business is business for Ubi. They fuck us PC gamers as well with constant promises and delays of console port games.

That contact info should get a split thread. People may look at the title of this thread and just see it as a bitchfest and skip it. That info is a great opportunity to do something proactive if you do care, & should be welcomed.
The anti consumer comments on Facebook, in journalist articles, etc. have a negative impact on the whole Ubisoft brand. That is far more problematic for Ubi, and the best trigger we have.I understand your outrage Nintendo fans but do you really think Ubisoft will care about a petition signed by 5000 people? I read somewhere that since they decided to port to ps360, they are legally bound by Microsoft to release any multiplatform game no later than on rivaling platforms and with the same content. So since it's going multiplatform, no version before 360's version is available.

Hey, look on the bright side: the Wii U version may exclusively have offline play and the ability to resell it!

Not so much legally bound. The excerpt reads that they "reserve a right to not allow it's release". There have been quite a deal of games that have been released on PS3 before 360, or released to bonus content that isn't available in the latter. Off the top of my head I can count Mortal Kombat, Arkham Asylum, Ghostbusters (in Europe) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World; the last of which was also Ubi published.
There's a certain amount of leeway with that "rule". It's mostly there to scare those publishers.
I still can't believe companies would put up with a stipulation like that, its ridiculous.

Is anyone else a little concerned they may change the Wii-U-exclusive parts of the game in order to better fit the multiplat mold?
