You didn't make a point to begin with "omg I hate xboxs layout!!! Worst controller ever." *rabid teenybopper fanboyism off*Fuck off since the point went over your head.
lol of course there will be a start and select button, either the design is not final or those buttons moved.
Any chance that touch pad is provisional and the final piece will feature a touch screen?
I'm honestly lost as to what's the functional or gamechanging purpose of the touchpad.
Yes, this must be it...

Guys, just don't think too much about that move/DS crossover ok?
now let's see if the new xbox controller breaks in half the way i've been hearing it does.
Top image looks so much better (in style & build quality).
It looks... really ugly. No sense judging from a cruddy photo of a prototype.
Disappointed that Sony didn't switch to the superior, industry standard, asymmetrical stick layout.
They don't need those buttons if they have built in mics.
"PLAYSTATION PAUSE."
They stole the entire NCL and trapped them in the back of the next dual shock. Nintendo should sue from inside the controller, it's the only way to break free.
Nintendo needs to sue here, I take seriously the idea that a company should be encouraged to create their own ideas versus leeching off of other successful products. On this controller I see the heart and soul of the WiiU and Dreamcast. Positioned in the center where everyone can see it is everything wrong with the gaming industry today. End this Sony.
The placement is also a huge issue.
I can't imagine being able to comfortably use the track pad unless you set the controller down.
What does that idiom "breaks in half the way" mean? Sorry, English isn't my first language.
Didnt see the post I was responding to? I guess its your trigger happy nature - MURICA F YEAH?You didn't make a point to begin with "omg I hate xboxs layout!!! Worst controller ever." *rabid teenybopper fanboyism off*
More than likely a camera in the back of them so they cost $80Tell us your secrets!

that ps4 controller looks expensive!
Asymmetrical is neither superior nor industry standard.Disappointed that Sony didn't switch to the superior, industry standard, asymmetrical stick layout.
This looks like an incredible evolution. Keeps the Dualshock form but makes it slightly heftier that gives 360 pad that awesome weighting. Integrates new features without messing up the old scheme. Isn't this what everybody wants?
What does that idiom "breaks in half the way" mean? Sorry, English isn't my first language.
It's just not functional and comfortable, I haven't been told anything that relates to this.
I thought it meant that the controller can physically separate into two distinct parts. What does that idiom "breaks in half the way" mean? Sorry, English isn't my first language.

Superior my ass. Non natural thumb placement = wrong placement.

Secret controller sauce! It means he's seeking attention.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned this (or at least the pages I have read haven't mentioned this)... the dual camera is in plain sight on that pic
Look at the big black rectangles on the left and right sides of the devkit. What else could it be?
